Clutch7 I watched plenty of Knicks games over his tenure and Tyson had many low post rebound opportunities but instead, opted to tap the ball out to half court (probably due to his anemic offensive capabilities). At first I found this propensity intriguing, until opponents anticipated this action and started stealing these taps and created fast breaks. I found myself yelling, "just grab the effing rebound!" on many a night. I just prefer a center that can (literally) grab rebounds.
+Summers Time Entertainment they're both useful. one isn't necessarily better than the other, it depends on which is appropriate for the situation. chandler grabbed a great deal of rebounds, especially offensive rebounds, the old fashioned way, he wasn't just tapping them out all the time, and when he couldn't get his hands on it he'd tap it out, which is a good thing to do. chandler generated a ton of extra possessions doing this and im pretty sure he was the first one to actually institutionalize the tap out as a featured part of his game. lopez on the other hand has massive hands, very good timing, is fundamentally sound, and has a strong base which he knows how to use effectively. they're both really good rebounders, they're just different.
You really don't think so, he has a great defensive presence down low, I'm surprised he never made the all defensive team, I think he is a legitimate center.
@@largec he was definitely a good contributor for a long time. As his career starts reaching its twilight he will probably play less and less minutes, especially on the stacked Cavs. I do think he has had a very solid career and is very under appreciated
pshh I love knicks but he did horrible with Dwight in the playoffs and klay Thompson dunked on him .. yea Lopez can lay it down on dunks he dunked on bogut a very good defensive player but Lopez defensive is wack
Hey you honestly make the best NBA highlight videos on RUclips! I can't find another channel that's very good!
after tyson chandler left we had NO ONE on defense. SO happy with rolo on board man our defense is gonna improve so much!!

It's nice to have a center that can grab rebounds instead of trying to tap it out to half court every time. Let's go Knicks!

+Clutch7 I vocalized my dislike for his propensities when he was with NYK.
You deserve way more subs
Awesome, thank you
rolo was the GOAT! i hate that he had to leave.
I honestly could not stand this dude when he was in Phoenix. But he has turned out to be a solid Center. Good luck to him.
He’s so much more talented than his stats show. It sucks that he’s never really turned into an elite big man.
