Adam, though likely watched each of your videos at least two times, I just noticed the green painters tape on the drill bit as a depth gauge, ingenious!
"Luckly i've got a bunch of old scraps of mdf that happen to be exactly the right size once i cut them down to the right size". The video just started and i've already heard the best quote ever

@@masondavis5527 its one of those troll names or sum, this was actually 2 months ago-
I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of effort, and passion that something like this would take. It's amazing.
"...until I'M happy with how they're set." I like that he doesn't care if it's not "perfect" or "beautiful" but the only thing that matters is that he himself likes it. Also, the end result is very cool!
Honestly, the bubbles at the bottom near where the octopus is really makes it more realistic and cool looking. Great job!
FACTS
It looks so mucusy, like hagfish slime
It kind of looks like he's kicking up sand or dirt like he just got a fresh kill
Yup, he definitely meant to do that
The way he explains things in a humorous way makes watching this so fun. Not to mention the skill and craftsmanship is exciting to see.
Yes!!! And his patience is remarkable. To cut all those plastic bits, then glue them! I couldn't do it lol.
I'm working my way through your stuff. I love all of it. This is the first I've seen with the 'save points', I really love the use and would like to see it used regularly.💚
I actually really like the effect of the bubbly resin at the bottom. It adds this sense of movement to... terry as if it just shot into the corner
Lol tbh I love your comment!

This was the first video I watched from him, and I am glad that I stumbled into this rabit hole that is deeper than the mariana trench. These videos are amazing, and even if I have already watched them, they make me feel better in any situation.
this guy doesn’t get enough likes and subscribers for this stuff he does. I LOVE IT. Well done.
I really love when you name things. Terry is wonderful.
And you made him a friend! So thoughtful
As someone with a love of both marine biology and horror stuff, this is extremely pleasing.

Agh this vid triggered me cuz octopus don’t have bones
@@vulturedrawz eh, I don't mind. The entire concept isn't exactly realistic, so I'm willing to set aside facts and enjoy a man-eating spooktopus
You should try making a backrooms like one with the cable monster. This video reminded me of that.
Thank you, NotB, for once again making a masterpiece and just ensuring that we're all entertained for 16 minutes and wishing we were as creatively inclined. I love watching these - so peaceful and yet so amazing.
Impressive work. You can buy "pre-trimmed" LEDs, they're called flat tops. They come in two varieties: regular flat and a reflector flat. The reflector flat has a little cone cut out of the top, which creates a reflector. They're designed to reflect the light sideways instead of forward. You can also get other shapes and sizes. Piranha LEDs are great for bright beams. Straw hat LEDs are like regular 5mm or 3mm ones, but much shorter and the beam is wider.
That’s not a fun as finding little glass pieces on your floor though haha
@@usa_summer9656 Yeah that's true.
Bro got PHD on LEDs
Number one victory Royale yeah fortnight we bout to get in and get down on the border of
I'm not sure if they're intentional, but all of the tiny bubbles at the bottom of the pool are perfect! They make it look like Terry is stirring up sand/silt/dirt :D
Good chance it is unintentional, but I totally agree !
Id say it was when its the resin with all the bubbles in it that he poured out to replace with the clear one! But I was gonna say that too! Its a pretty cool effect and it adds some spooky to the whole thing
Bro wath the fuck
I was thinking the same thing
I love how these videos are paced.
The video of what he's explaining plays before he finishes his sentences; and it's probably just making my neurodivergent habits worse, but it's entertaining before it is informative which makes me want to keep watching the video. Very nice touch, intentional or not!
That's a wonderfully creative diorama as well, so win-win 👌🏻
This is the video i found North Of The Border through and its one of the best decisions ive ever made to watch this video. Have to say its weird coming back to it after 2 years.
Adam keep it up. One of the best content creators on this platform for sure.
I'm extremely impressed and pleased by the pool tiles. They look so sick, man
@3:59 Why did my head goes straight to Dr. Doofenshmirtz saying, "An octopus...? Terry the Octopus?" XD
Lol
Berry the bear!
The fact that he added detail to the back of this which will most likely be pressed up against a wall is just wild to me. Great work
There were some tiny bubbles in the resin that I saw during the glamour shots but they really add to the water effect so I think having a bubbly resin pour was a good thing in this case. Amazing sculpture as always, Adam :)
I thought that, kinda looked like the tentacles were causing it mid movement which is even cooler
Terry is great! I love how anatomically correct he is. Your videos make life less icky, I appreciate that. Thank you for making them, and thank you to your supporters for allowing this to happen.
Wow I'm blown away at how amazing you are. Next I think you should make a titanuboa.
Omg I love these , because as a kid I always loved myths and fables.
"... and Terry's ready for the pool!" Love how innocent that sounds lol
I love how you explain your process. I found you recently and have been watching your videos a lot.
same, ai found him by the kirby mouthful video
Yeah i just found them too, been watching lots of diorama creations lately, none have had actual comentary *UNTIL NOW!*
i keep coming back to rewatch this one because its one of my favorites. i love the way you make backgrounds. i wish there were more!

I really like the calm look of the pool. I would like living there if I was a monster :)
So glad Terry was brought back for a second sculpture, now we can say "Terry: Electric Boogaloo", or something like that.
By second sculpture I mean the bathtub and bathroom, I know this video that this comment is on is the first one.
Yay Terry! I loved it! As always a great "tiny, nerdy thing". I love your attention to detail. All those little things really bring Terry and the others to life. Now I can move on to the rest of my Friday thanks.
I really love the bubbles left by that first pour, they really enhance the aesthetic of the pool.
I think would have been insanely cool if Terry the octobie had a barely visible red dot within one of the eye sockets, though i can't see how it would be done.
I love it when walking around barefoot, and it's more exciting 😌
Especially in the kitchen
Keep up.
The best work I think this platform has ever seen.
The effort this man puts, both into his sculptures and his videos is astronomical.
I just wanna say how astounding your upload frequency is. You're uploading every week with a new and unique craft, and the quality just gets better and better each week! The videos are well made, the commentary is nothing short of superb-- I'm always looking forward to new videos. Honestly, A++ channel ❤️

I'm really impressed with how well the tiles worked out. Very cool, Adam.
This is absolutely one of my favorite builds you have ever done. The attention to detail is marvelous, and the end result was just outstanding!
"They are exactly the right size once I cut them down to the right size."
Profoundly relevant.
Ppl on TikTok upload your vids on tiktok with your name but nor your RUclips link , seems like they act as you to get views
That thin white paint on the tiles was gosh darn amazing. It looked okay before but suddenly became extremely realistic! Takes me right back to the public pool I swam in as a little kid
"Pool 5 is closed for maintenance. Permanently." Those words pounded through my head as I walked through the hallways and past the door leading to pool five. I paused to look at it and... the door was covered in grime and the doorknob was rusting. I couldn't see through the window because it was fogged out by a thick layer of filth. There was no way anyone had seen the inside of that room for years. *A little peek wouldn't hurt, would it?* I thought before using my thumb to wipe away some of the grime on the little window at the top of the door, admittedly with some effort. The inside of the room was just as disgusting as the door was, if not worse The grimy water had seemingly even started to turn purple! Well, that was repulsive. But that was nothing compared to what I saw when I stupidly opened the door. The water HAD changed colour, but it wasn't purple. Inside of the pool was a giant, purple octopus with a human skull instead of a body amongst the grime. I nearly jumped in the pool when I heard a voice, "That's Terry, He's pretty neat, isn't he," Quickly recovering from this scare, I turned around but could not see the speaker. Suddenly, A foot came out of the shadows and was the last thing I saw as I fell into the pool and was devoured by the monster within.
WOW AMAZING😃😃😃😃
R u a Wattpad writer? 🤔
@Lucy_No i think that was the point💀
@Lucy_No it’s fine lol

Do you ever had a really spooky or scary dream that you woke up from but weren’t able to finish the story and you just wanna go back to that dream and finish it? Well, I can do that I can literally be woken up and be like “one sec give me five more minutes I just have to finish my dream” and I can go back to my dream and finish it. It’s the weirdest thing.
Finally, someone can relate to me😂

the bubbles in the resin are super cool, it gives the pool a look of stagnant water witch is provoked from decomposing things, like the "meat" of the skelepus
