Ah, the game that really feels like Cameron’s vision of the future war. You can tell this was done by fans of the series rather that corporate heads who care less about the product.
Hard to believe these were the same devs/publisher who made Rambo The Video Game. Terminator Resistance was pretty good, I'm definitely looking forward to the dlc and I hope their Robocop FPS turns out great too. Give them the rights to: Starship Troopers, Aliens, Predator, Judge Dredd, and Warhammer 40k.
John: [pokes at one of Terminator's bullet wounds] Holy sh*t! You're really real! I mean, you're like a machine underneath, right? But sort of alive outside? Terminator: I'm a cybernetic organism. Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton.
Well the TX i an anti-terminator terminator and a far more advanced and newer so yes the TX whould "throw him around like a dank meem". And i love Terminator Resistance.
Don't forget about the annihilation line DLC this week!!! I loved this game, and for what it is it does a service to the fan base and the source material. Big step up from their crappy Rambo game.
Fallout: Skynet Edition was so much fun! Bought it, got to the main menu and that rock cover of Brad Fiedel's score was just amazing. I was nothing but a smile with opposable thumbs from that point to the credits. I wish we could get modern ports of the Bethesda games, maybe from Night Dive. On a side note, Teyon is working on a Robocop game. I know I'd buy that for a dollar!
I saw on steam that the devs are going to release a new Terminator Resistance dlc: “Terminator Resistance:Annhialation line” which from what I read it picks up mid way through the main campaign story and sees Jacob Rivers and a small team of resistance soldiers being led by Kyle Reese heading to “the land beyond the Annihilation line” and it said it’s coming this December 10th
Cant wait to see the DLC Annihiation Line and what they do with Kyle Resse, as for the Robocop part you talk about the same devs Teyon is working on a Robocop game call Rogue City so I have faith that going to be good as will seeing how Resistance turn out.
9:29 Terminator for the Sega CD is good; I did a playthrough of it. I want to do a live stream this time and get the speedrun record on the Super! mode. 12:49 Batman Detective Mode seems to be in every new game nowadays.
I still have a big soft spot for Dawn of Fate due to its tone and atmosphere (and that awesome metal as fork soundtrack). But this game doesn’t look half bad either.
I always thought the Terminator franchise got lucky on the novel front (In addition to the Stirling trilogy there was the John Connor Chronicles originally a trilogy though a fourth book came later which came out a few years later released around the time of the Stirling books, a T3 loose duology with one book spilt between following one of the novel's primary characters in the days leading up to Judgment Day and the Machine War while the second is all Machine War, and several novels released around Salvation.) Edit: It was the Machine War section of the T3 novelization which stated Skynet was scrapping the older Terminators. The first of the post T3 duology retconned that thankfully to Skynet only scrapping damaged Terminators it didn't feel were worth the resource needed to repair them.
This game was worth it in my opinion. It may not be the best graphics wise and felt a bit short but to me it captures the feel of that future war. Something we’ve been starved off since salvation.
I would also recommend Terminator: Future Shock and it's "sequel" Skynet. Both made by Bethesda before Fallout was a thing for them. In many ways Terminator Resistance borrowed ideas from those games with the looting and semi-open world style gameplay. Great retrospective. I enjoyed your video and am excited for the DLC Annihilation Line and future games by Teyon.
Awesome video, definitely considering getting this game seeing as it's currently on sale on the Xbox live store for their massive Xmas holiday sale..you keep making a mistake when mentioning the date for "Judgment Day"...you keep saying it was in 1998..in "The Terminator" (1984) "Kyle Reese" tells "Sarah Connor" it happens sometime in 1997, in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" the "T-800" (model 101) tell "Sarah & John Connor" that "Judgment Day happens on August 29th, 2:40PM, 1997" when she asks it for the detailed information it has on "Miles Bennett Dyson".. creator of the Neural Net Processing Chip for "CYBERDYNE SYSTEMS" that will give birth to the "SKYNET" AI system..stored on it's CPU Chip, like I said awesome video.. looking forward to seeing more..keep up the great content!...👍🤣😅😋

The music in this game is amazing and Teyon are still supporting it with new dlc featuring Kyle Reese coming in a couple of weeks.
This is the greatest redemption arc A development company ever had
This like the Ghostbusters video game the "real" third movie.
Terminator resistance and Alien Isolation are gems for those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s.

Lotz! Great to see you doing a review of this fantastic game, one of my favorites. Two weeks and we have the DLC. I can’t wait.
Well the TX i an anti-terminator terminator and a far more advanced and newer so yes the TX whould "throw him around like a dank meem". And i love Terminator Resistance.
The 90s shooters by Bethesda were quite cool and ahead of their time. Good luck getting them to work on windows 10.
It's not too hard with dosbox fortunately

huge terminator fan myself

I honestly don't know if there is a stealth game that came out in last 10 years or so that doesn't have x-ray vision
I think Rivers decline going back seeing himself killed. If you saved the ones from the bunker, Rivers sees her & the kid again.
Modern game with a straight protagonist and two hot options?
😱😱😱
This game has got everything
I hope you make a video about the DLC’s as well

Thanks for including the book recommendation, I bought the entire trilogy in hardcover.
I was only half paying attention until I found out I'm not the only one who liked Genisys. I shot up from my futon like a meerkat
This is a good game.
I will never forget Terminator Salvation's story.
Wow, that was unexpected. Wow! Finally! I was hoping you would review this game Lotz! 🤩
This game was worth it in my opinion. It may not be the best graphics wise and felt a bit short but to me it captures the feel of that future war. Something we’ve been starved off since salvation.
Terminator Salvation is actually a pretty good game. Definitely worth checking out.
If I remember right, if you do the hacking mini game right, you’ll be able to hear the terminator theme
😏👍Nice Review Broh, picking it up on GOG
You completely forgot or didnt mention Terminator Future Shock and Terminator Skynet for the PC. Those games were super fun in the 90s. Wtf!!
Posted 2 weeks before the new dlc lol
I would also recommend Terminator: Future Shock and it's "sequel" Skynet. Both made by Bethesda before Fallout was a thing for them. In many ways Terminator Resistance borrowed ideas from those games with the looting and semi-open world style gameplay.

But the game isn't on xbox is it?
Edit* wait this game is how old?
@MATT CYPRESSi wish knew that sooner
This is a testament to how you keep the terminator franchise fresh....keep Arnie out of it
General lotz, I don’t know but it really seems you don’t like California, and I agree
Far Cry???? What? Its more like Metro: Exodus formula
@MATT CYPRESS And what??) Terminator more arcade game for normises, but overrall formula with open world locations the same
Hell Yeah
I suppose everyone's standards are different. I hated T5 but I genuinely enjoyed T6
Jerry Seinfeld is that you?
What is the deal with Skynet? They perfect the human form only to leave the b.o. you'd think thatd be the first thing it left out
I mean it was a fun Terminator game, but for me personally it doesn’t even come close to Terminator: Dawn Of Fate or T3: Redemption.
I did like the game, except the crafting was annoying
Did we watch the same Terminator genisys?
I have to respectfully disagree and the claim that it is an objectively terrible film
did he rly say communistfornia…
i am gen z and i hate my most of my generation but godamn dude u like apart of generation cringe or something -2
