I have Aortic stenosis, also a mitral and tricuspid regurgitation . Would the TAVR be done first then a another procedure to repair the two other valves. I am a 70 year old female with no comorbitites.
As I understand it, TAVR is only used when an open heart procedure is not required for another problem. Why do two procedures when everything can be done in one?
Thank u
Is t a v r good for leaky aortic valve 3/4 for age 65 thank you

I have almost the same situation and my primary cardiologist said the TAVR would have to be done first.
