Lincoln Elementary School 'Rises Up'!

Students in Andrea Barranger's 4/5 classroom at Lincoln Elementary School recently collaborated with music teacher Heather Jaasko to perform the song 'Rise Up' by Andra Day. Students analyzed and annotated the lyrics which led to a rich discussion on why it is important to never give up, which certainly feels like an important mantra during this Pandemic.
This performance had students involved in numerous many different capacities; from singing, playing the xylophone and piano, to providing technical support. It was a total team effort, great work Team Lincoln! 😍🎹🙌🏼🎤🔥🎼 #LincolnES #RiseUp #Inspiration
