I often watch your live webcams down at Nuuk. It's great to see the aircraft and ground crew close up here at Sismiut. Please show us some other Greenland airports, in similar videos, if possible. 🙂

Nice video. I love small aiports. But the ones in Greenland need all this special organisation in order to deal with very low temperatures. Lovely. I hope to visit some time in the future.

Growing up in a place without winter, it’s always thriving to think about snow, and i might get a chance to visit Greenland next summer! I’d like to ask if it is possible to see snow in some parts of Greenland in summer, and how is the climate between mid-july to mid-august? thanks!
Loved your tour! May I ask, at about 5:25 they are hooking up a hose to the rear of the plane. What is that? I've wondered since the ones they use at Nuuk seem only to be hooked up when the temps are around freezing or below. Thanks for the tour. Fun seeing it up close.
I can see the baggage mauling system is pretty much as standard as everywhere. I bet they get a back hander from the suitcase manufacturers. I saw my bag being thrown 15 foot once in Nice airport. It has fell off the truck and they just threw it in the air like a side of beef in an abattoir.

Thanks, this is the daily routine of Mittarfeqarfiit though. In Sisimiut, we handle luggage etc.

Great question. It's a heater. It blows hot air into the plane when it's on the ground.
