Hi. Yeah, you wouldn’t believe the amount of hours I spent just to get it right for the video lol! Thank you for your comment and for your support! ~Rm😎
Great intro for this heli. Went a few years ago to X-Plane because of their excellent flightmodel for rotorcraft. But this heli is pulling me back to FS.
Hi. Yes, it's a great addon for MSFS 2020! I have a fully detailed video on the channel to help you get to grips quickly with the on-board Helionics system. Thanks for watching! ~Rm😀
@@paulvanuffelen8380 Hi Paul, so sorry, Ive just seen your additional comment. RUclips don’t notify the content creator on additional comments unfortunately but only on the first comment. Hey man, thankssss! Really glad you loved it. It was hard work getting it spot on and putting it all together. That heli aint easy! Wow! you've really gone to town! I hope you've got a good rig to run it all. I'm on nVidia 1660 Ti with 6gb of RAM. Wished I'd gone for 8gb as a bottom minimum. I can't slide the Quest up beyond 75. Hope it all works out for you and thanks for the sub and like. ~Rm😀
You Sir just gained a new sub I will be back for more content. I am new to Flight Sim been looking for helicopters any chance of helping me find out were to down load them and install. :)
Hi and welcome to the community! It's great to have you onboard. First off, thanks for the sub and for watching. I've got more fixed wing content coming up soon. Just been real busy. Flightsim.to is our go-to place for MSFS2020 free addons. The video featured is by Hype Performance Group. The do a free starter version on Flightsim.to called the H135. Just dwonload and drop into your community folder. The one I'm using is the popular payware H145. This is the best heli to date. Hope this helps! ~Rm 🙂
@ 19:11 I have flown the B407 irl and I have started it with the fuel boost pumps off when the battery was right at the minimum starting voltage. Turning on the pumps would have reduced the voltage even more. Also, the 407 has an engine driven fuel pump. I'm sure the more complicated H145 has at least 1 engine driven fuel pump. But I could be wrong.
Hi. Sorry for late response. The instruction I gave in the video was strictl;y following the guidance set out in the manual. I can't add anything more really. Thanks for watching! ~Rm😉
Great video. Thanks for making these. Would love to know what your rig consists of. What VR are you using etc? Please make a video on that, would be super interesting
Hi, I'm using Thrustmaster Wharthog joystick and throttle as you can see and also Saitek rudder pedals. I rarely use the VR as I've only got 6gb of ram and its just not enough. Fortunately, I was able to record this video for you all. Thanks for watching!
@@vracan Back in the days of FSX or FS2004 you had the option to perform an auto-start by pressing CTRL+E keys. But in today's very advanced sim arena that option is somewhat laughable to many 'hardened' flightsimmers. We like the cold n dark states and keeping it manual.

I always enjoy watching your videos. I just got the H145 myself, and as much as I love it, my experience is ruined by the constant "caution, terrain" audio warnings! Perhaps I missed something, but how do I turn those off?
Hi. Sorry for late reply. To my knowledge there is no way to turn off the terrain caution alerts. I have'nt seen a dedicated switch for it. Thanks for watching.

Hi there! Really glad you enjoyed the videos. The flying video took a good few days of practice before doing the final recording. Hi. I haven't flown the H145 in a very good while. Regarding OEI state, the manual says on page 20: "The Training button (inoperative) simulates One-Engine-Inoperative (OEI) flight condition while retaining the safety margin of the working engine. (For simulation use you may safely take one engine to the IDLE position for a similar effect.}" Hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching!

The H145 drifts all over the place when the autopilot is switched off, a difficult machine to fly when compared to Cabri G2, would be great if you have a tutorial on how to hand fly without the autopilot. Thanks.
Hi. In the viideo the H145 was only partly flown in autopilot for demo purposes. The rest, as you can see from the video insert was hand flown. Thanks for watching. ~Rm😉
Just bought this yesterday and I've installed the latest Dev build. My Collective is working fine but not my throttle (it does nothing) - is this normal for this aircraft?
@@NaviSim101 It’s a VKB Gladiator and I’m well versed in heli controls (normally) but the H-145 has thrown me a little. Maybe it’s not supposed to use throttle and just use collective?!
@@AdminVortex762 In helicopters, the collective is essentially the 'throttle' - that whcih powers the motors. So, yes, you do need to set it up. I've seen your throttle now. Firstly, as I said, make sure you get it working with other msfs aircraft or helis just to test its basic operation. Then goto msfs control options menu and select throttle axiis 1. You'll need to uncheck REVERSE because in helicopters the 'rest' or non-motor position is full forward on the throttle. In my video, can you see that I am pulling up the throttle to power? As it's a new throttle, make sure you install the latest drivers for it. You can check its operation on the settings page of the H-145 Settings menu on the on-board iPad. Hoep this helps
