This is incredible! i've been flying the H145 (in msfs lol, also have the manuals) since it first came out in August 2021 and its really amazing to see someone in real life actually touch the buttons and explain them. There's something extra special about actually seeing it in a video, reading diagrams and such don't to it justice like this does.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! 🙏🏼 Myself I don’t like to read tutorials in the simulator world, but seeing someone doing stuff is best way for me to learn. That’s why I believe that this kind of videos might be helpful for some others too. Nice that you liked it 😊
@@msinerva80 Same for me! I'm a visual learner. Video tutorials are ideal. In the future it might be interesting for you to show doing a preflight of the helicopter? plus videos of you actually flying are always welcomed.
I appreciate you taking the time for these videos. I enjoy flying this in the sim and your explanations are great. Your English is fine and it's easy to follow along. Be safe out there!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve fallen in love with flying the H145 in the simulator and seeing a real pilot go through everything helps it to make sense.
I prefer to map my HOTAS as close to the real aircraft as possible, so this is very useful. I had no trouble understanding, your English is 100% better than my Finnish 👌
😅 I think my pronouncing is fine but the speed of talk is very slow due the lagging of the vocabulary memorizing. Good to hear that this is usefull to you 👌🏼😊
Nice to see they moved the GA button and Wiper button to different spots. In the BK117C2 theyre right next to eachother. Kind of awkward when you want to engage GA mode and the wiper starts instead😂
Wow.. big words 😅 Thanks for the feedback. I’ll do my best with the english and try not to lag too much with the talking not to loose people’s interest while watching.
Thank you so much Markus, that was sooo interesting to watch! A few days ago I have ordered a collective, will be especially interesting to map those new buttons. I think I will do a flight with the HPG H145 from Rovaniemi now :)
Nice to hear! Check also my videos about the controls and seat trajectories if you wish to compare those with your home simulator 😊 Welcome to Rovaniemi 😁 The surroundings are quite flat when compared to some mountainous areas but I recommend you to practice for example HEMS-missions to nearby ski resorts like Pyhä, Levi or Ylläs. Or just rescue some heart attack hikers from the vast wilderness areas here😊
This is such a great video Markus. Thank you very much. I hope that Finnish HEMS will allow and enable you to make more videos and that you'll use English. I know the community loves to see them! I have some suggestions for content if you need
Great video. "Flying" the H145 and H160 and want to make bindings on my cyclic as realistic as the real one. For long I have tried to find documentation without any luck - until I stumbled across your excellent video. You really helped me out of this. And to be said - your English is more than good enough for me. Myself, as Norwegian, slow speaking helps all of us non-native English speakers
Oh wow… this kind of feedback makes me also happy 🤩 It’s super nice to know that my videos can be more than just entertainment. Thanks for the kind feedback!
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll do my best with english versions. Even some simpliest words are just sometimes hard to memorize while pushing foreign language and same time thinking what to talk 😁
Trank YouMarkus for your absolute amazing Videos and to give us some really amazing Impression of your absolute responsible and Great Job as a Hems Pilot. You don’t have to apologize for your English because the way you explain, show the stuff and fly the helicopter in the same time is absolutely stunning !!! Let me ask 2 questions please : For what reason is the collective on the copilot -side not locked when in neutral position? When for example the PIC is the pilot flying and uses the collective on his side, does the other collective simultaneously move also, or is it fixed then?
Thanks for the kind words. Actually we just had a practice flight with the NVG's on a congested area, and I used the GTC.H. and GTC. I used GTC.H when descending to lower altitude and snow started to blow, and right after I took off to hover I used it again. Then I switched to GTC and started to fly backwards using the PC2 RTOL-procedure. GTC keeps the nose heading steady without using the pedals, and helps with the departure. During taxiing it is also sometimes nice to have GTC on. You can just start steering with cyclic, and nose turns automatically to the direction of the turn without using pedals. I filmed all this with my action camera and I'm going to share it after day or two on my channel :)
Thank you so much for this explanation. How do you experience the Asobo flight model / HPG H145 - how close do we get to the real handling of the aircraft esspecially when flying manually?
Hi Markus, thanks for sharing! Wondering what is the procedure when the Trim Release button fails? Is there an override to disable it and have manual control?
Very informative video! Thank you for creating this!! But, I have a question: WHY did you not hold your cellphone horizontally instead of vertically!?!?! (TVs and computer screens are oriented horizontally, NOT vertically!! And, YES, your cellphone will shoot video horizontally very well!)
Thanks for the feedback! The videos I share on TikTok are shooted vertically. And this one, like few others on my channel are made for that purpose, and shared afterwards also here on RUclips 😊 Most of the videos on my channel, as you can see, are filmed horizontally because that is the main direction we use in most of the devices. Actually still one year ago I could’t imagine filming anything in portrait mode, but this TikTok has changed a little bit that practice of mine 😅

Great video! Explains all the cyclic and collective buttons!👍🏻
Waiting for my H145 Komodo controls to arrive now! Thank you for your great videos!👍🏻
Thanks!! 😊

Super interesting very good thanks
Thanks for the effort to explain the knobs and buttons in the real 145. Much appreciated 👍🏻🚁 greetings from EHAM
Thanks Markus!! I’m from Brazil and I’m going to Stavanger now to do the inicial training for H145 D2.
Thanks for the information you share. 🙏
You've done your initial now? How was it? :)
Dear Markus, thanks a lot! Your video is a great help 🤓
Thanks, great to hear that these videos are helpfull😁
Extremely informative, thankyou .. You're English is great. I wish I could speak a second language as good as you.
Thanks for publishing it in english.

Oh my.. this is my first ever super thanks 🤩 I didn’t actually know even what it means. Many thanks Guilherme.
Thank you very much 🎉

Hi Markus, thanks for sharing! Wondering what is the procedure when the Trim Release button fails? Is there an override to disable it and have manual control?
Hi Markus, Can you explain to me when the trim release is used? Is it mandatory for a manual flight?
