  • Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi is one of the bravest women in the world. For more than 20 years, she has been fighting against the Iranian regime and its systematic oppression of women. Now she has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
But she won’t be able to accept the prize herself, because since 2021 she has once again been jailed, in Tehran’s notorious Evin prison. Mohammadi has been imprisoned 16 times for protesting against dictatorial regimes and human rights violations. She herself has experienced gender-based oppression and violence. She has been abused by regime officials and has survived "white torture,” a type of psychological torture carried out in solitary confinement. Her reports on "white torture" are harrowing: Prisoners are locked in two-by-three meter cells that are permanently lit, though often without any natural light. This form of torture is designed to psychologically break detainees, forcing them into false confessions which subsequently puts them at risk of being sentenced to execution. Inmates experience a complete loss of control - they lose their sense of time, space, and their own body. "White torture" leaves no visible scars. Nevertheless, upon release from prison, some people die as a result of mental breakdown or suicide, as they find they can no longer live with the traumatic effects.
Mohammadi’s Nobel Peace Prize also honors all the Iranians who took to the streets against their country’s regime under the slogan, "Woman, Life, Freedom.” This documentary by Katja Deiß and Narges Mohammadi is not only a portrait of the Iranian human rights activist, but an appeal from her jail cell: Mohammadi managed to smuggle messages out of prison for the film. She also produced a documentary herself during a period of release.
"Unbreakable - My Fight for Freedom in Iran” was produced by Hessischer Rundfunk in co-production with Deutsche Welle and German Dream Productions. It gives voice to victims of torture, political activists, and members of Narges Mohammadi's family, who live in exile.

They had religious brainwashing and most think that is not how things should be. But there is a minority, comprised of people who actually know that in Iran weird totalitarian regime exists, theocracy, people who are not really religious, apostates, atheists, agnostics, and most of all apatheists, but as any totalitarian regime, those people men and women need some moment when that theocracy will collapse or get weaker, then maybe they can do something, secularization. And that religion is especially convenient for theocratic regimes because it is a whole ideology with weird, illogical, and barbarian rules..Their law, sharia, is some kind of regulation straight from the 7th century and is downright barbaric.

The vast majority of Iranians are very much against the evil regime in their country, but without support powerless to topple the regime. If the international community strongly support the Iranians to get rid of the regime and replace it with a democratic government, then they will have killed two birds with one stone; freeing the Iranian people, but also it is guaranteed that once that regime is gone, the middle east, and in fact the whole world will be much more peaceful and safer.

. Among the teachings of the Bahá’I Faith (religion born in Iran in 1863), is the Equality of the Rights of Women and Men :
. “The world of humanity has two wings-one is women and the other men. Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly. Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible. Not until the world of women becomes equal to the world of men in the acquisition of virtues and perfections, can success and prosperity be attained as they ought to be.”.

I don't think I would survive "white torture" mentally.
    😟😟😟
Or at least in my imagination I wouldn't survive it for psychological reasons, I would die in my imagination... which is perhaps one of the reasons why, if I were Iranian and lived in Iran...I don't think I would be able to go against the laws with such persistence... to protest against the Iranian regime in such a brave way.
This white torture is really terrible!!!!!!! Very, very cruel and very, very inhumane!!!!!!
    😟😟😟😟😟😟
Narges Mohammadi has my respect for her courage and perseverance in the fight for women's rights/human rights/equality...and she knows that she is paying a high price for this fight...she is truly unbreakable.

Narges Mohammadi is not an woman activist. She trained from islamic regime and also she is not the leader of Iranian women. She tries to mislead what is going on in Iran as reformist. These type of prisoners try to reform islamic regime by changing of some structure like, take away hijab and allow to drinking alcohol. We have lot of Iranian women in prisons that believe Monarchy system and regime torture them and killed them but no one doesn't talk about them some of thier name are Fatemeh Sepehri, Ali Norozi, Manoocher Bakhtiyari, Nahid Shirpishe, Even Narges Mohamadi doesn't mentions their names.Because Narges Mohammadi is from islamic regime. Iranian people want to go back to Monarchy system as 45 years ago we had . We had Shah and he has a Son. He is our Crown prince and his name is King Reza Pahlavi . He is the only one can brings peace in the middle east like his father. The only person that Iranian people has trusted is King Reza Pahlavi. Unfortunately United Stats government and also Eurpean governments don't support our Crown prince because they take advantage of islamic regime to get cheap oil . But look how they brought chaos to middle east. by supporting the molahs .You will see very soon they will send Narges Mohammadi out of Iran to continue her mission . UN is supporting Islamic regime too.UN gave human right chair after islamic regime killed 500 children and young people and 30000 peolpe in prison last year. No of the News in United state talked about these. Why because all media and news run by globalist. If you want to support Iranian people support our Crown prince King Reza Pahlavi. Thank you!

It is important to know that Ms. Narges Mohammadi is not the only Iranian Human Right defender. Iran has thousands of political prisoners who have and are fighting the the Mullahs and their terrorist militias (IRGC and Basij militias that are NOT on the German government's Terrorist list and they freely engage in travel and commerce in Germany and most of EU). Hundreds of thousands of Iranians have been arrested by the regime and to keep them silent, the government requires that they post the title of their homes, condos and businesses once the title is set in an escrow, the prisoner is then released based on certain condition. If the person defies the terms of release such as going public with the information, talking to media.... they are rearrested and their assets (home, condo, business) is confiscated and sold off by the government. This is how millions of Iranians are kept silent and not fighting the regime. In other examples, the regime will confiscate the offender's bank accounts, registered vehicles and other assets; then if necessary just like in China, the government will revoke social privileges such travel by not issuing passports, driver licence, ability to be registered for college and university education..... That is why the regime in Iran has no place in the 21st century. It is interesting that the German government did not stop sale of very specialized cameras made of Bosch that are used for facial recognition that are installed in public places to recognize people and matching them with their national ID picture database, so those who publicly violate the rules can be traced and arrested. The volume of violators are so high, the government will email and mail notification to the person's address to come in to the courthouses so they are arrested (without sending police to their home (very efficient rule of terror)... Woman, Life, Freedom🎉

We should never allow ourselves to acquiesce to the world around us. Find simple ways to take action & support.
An avalanche is made up of many millions of Snowflakes & so, with that in mind, you can take *5 minutes* today to help the cause in Iran itself by running a Tor Snowflake browser add-on.
Without the possibility of any technical risk, the Tor Snowflake browser add-on helps tens of thousands of Iranian revolutionaries to safely access the Internet on a daily basis, to discuss, to support & consider on-going strategy, without risk of harm by the IRGC & others.
Freedom is a state of mind. Possibility leads to opportunity when we don’t allow ourselves to feel defeated by the Facists who want to bully us out of existence.

Isn’t Islam a religion that fuses the political, religious, social norms all together in one?
From what I remember from reading the Islamic literature, I think this is the case.
So if this woman professes to be a Muslim, then it follows that, as a Muslim, a person must submit to the authority. That authority being not only the State but the religious norms that govern society.
Is she trying to reform Islam? Change the religion?
With what authority does she appeal to?
My only statement here, as an American Christian, a truly free man, free to serve the Lord, not free to be living in chaos,
My only statement to this lady is :
    GOOD LUCK!
But I do not believe it will work.
Unless the society becomes secular, which would mean that the people are only Muslim in name only, not truly following the Quran or Hadith.
    Again, good luck!

Yes, it is an ideology, so she should not be of that ideology anymore. It is religious darkness, something like a coma, those who have blind faith and are ready to kill for Mo or their imaginary friend Alaa...
Those holy books are made by human beings, that one you mentioned, Mo invented it, obviously, that is why there are so many repetitions, he was illiterate so he had no way of knowing what ayet was invented by him a few weeks ago.

To be honest, we the Iranian do not give a shit to such prices like this. The only purpose of such things is to deceive the entire nations throughout the world and telling them that we have heard your voice and here you are! get the prize and stay quite. NO. What the people in IRAN need is the real and maximum support in all sort of the ways helping them to get rid of a religious regime. THAT IS IT.
