Hades was the first roguelike I played (started in 2021) and it blew my mind. First of all, the artwork blew me away, I would ocasionally stop and just look at the amount of details there were. The story is very compelling and after the first time I reached the surface and saw what is up there, I could not stop for days. The replayability is genius. I would say it is a difficult game, but you can get good at it quite fast. Eversince Hades, I've been obsessed with roguelikes. Now I am playing Dead Cells which is kicking my butt on 2BC, but it's so good as well, I can't stop.
I got hades when it first came out on switch and played til i got 2 or 3 clears but i recently got back into the game and now i've got 30+ clears with multiple clear with each weapon at the epilogue and its thanks to both you and haelian. Your videos have really upped my game so thank you.
My favorite and I think easiest bow build, is Aspect of Chiron, you rush poseidon on special, then get zeus, and aim for sea storm. The play style is a little 'slow' since you have to dash attack, then special every single enemy. But you start 1 shotting just about everything, and can nearly 1 hit cycle bosses too. Daedalus hammers to look out for especially Relentless Volley, but Concentrated Volley or Piercing volley are OK. Hammers that speed up the attack are useful, and the ones that reduce the range of attack almost brick the build. Add in artemis pressure points, support fire, hunter's mark, and you hit like a truck.
My laziest bow build is spamming Rama special and getting Ares doom on special. Then getting dire misfortune and impending doom. Just literally spam special and evade. Haha

Before watching the video yes I did use a bow build for my busted run, no it was not Hera and I'll be real with you it was supposed to be a casual bow run with aspect of Zag on low heat because I'm still a bit new to the game but understand it well enough to come up with good builds and it took me a total of 25 minutes to complete the run except im a idiot but because my build was so noob friendly and OP i didn't have to think strategize or focus and I'll share the details of the build in a seprate comment but i wonder how similar our builds are because i too used Dionysus
Dash key is the X on the PS5 controller so the bottom button. It works well with dash attacks X and Square can be pressed together to dash attack very easily.
Blood borne LOOKS a lot like a souls game, and they are definitely in the same vein, but blood borne plays a lot more aggressive because of the lack of shields (which encourages more parrying and dodging over all else), minimal ranged/spell builds and the addition of rally where you can regain health by quickly counterattacking after you get hit. Dark souls tends to favour a slower play style with more ranged/defensive options, and a focus on things like buffs and load outs. Dark souls is more about builds and finding the winning combination for you, whereas bloodborne really only has weapons to worry about, and all else is skill. I can’t really fully explain in words how kinetic and edge-of-your-seat bloodborne feels in comparison to the more slow and methodical the dark souls games are. You can build a dark souls character to be like a nimble zen glass canon where you have to find “the zone” to become a god of the battlefield, but I’ve never NOT felt that in some of bloodbornes more dangerous encounters. Have you seen Sekiro? Bloodborne feels more like sekiro where YOU are developing more than just your character, where you have a more minimal rule set that you have to master rather than a buffet of fun options. Bloodborne is definitely a cousin to dark souls in terms of world and boss design, but the core mechanics have it being a closer sibling to Sekiro. Anyways, I hope that rambling made some sort of sense, it is more about game feel than anything else. Both great games, not always easy to get into because they are not easy to describe, and also admittedly the games aren’t very good at describing anything past the very basic gameplay loop of “there is once currency you use to buy and also level up, you lose it when you die with one chance to retrieve it, go die to this boss a bunch until you learn, unlock new area rinse repeat”
Top ! thx i need auto traduction (OMG) but that' s cool. A question ( for everybody): With a build Poséîdon/Dyonisos... etc, found "exclusive acces" stage 1 or 2 is only my dream ?
I tend to stay away from souls like games but bloodborne feels different, I think it's the stagger system. Also returnal is a great game but it's a pad killer, I went through 2 pads but that might be down to the quality of the ps5 pads.
Alright, I am currently playing through Chronotrigger for the first time, which has me a bit absorbed at the moment. But here is your customary like and comment. I suck with the bow so this one might learn me something.

They are my favorite type of game for sure! The difficulty makes it more addicting to me actually!
@@JawlessPaul yeah that’s the same reason I love games like hades and Celeste! Difficult games are just so fun to improve at
Hestia is coming soon, so the game won't be as repetitive! We are waiting to complete the recordings. Really love your video by the way!

Chiron is very good too! All of the bow builds are amazing imo
Wouldn't it be better to try for a different build on Chiron since Sea Storm would be limited by the internal cooldown on bolts?
For me the essiest bow build is chiron bow w/ demeter on special and ares on attack. Massive damage and the slow makes things so much easier
That's a nice combination. I think slow is often undervalued by folks, but it makes the game much easier.
My laziest bow build is spamming Rama special and getting Ares doom on special. Then getting dire misfortune and impending doom. Just literally spam special and evade. Haha
Totally! It's very similar to the shield build actually :D

Nice! I love hearing about busted builds!
Did he even use the Special at all??!
Definitely not! The special is awful in this build 😂
I’m wondering do you change your dash key on your controller?
