But I bought it anyway, and I can still hardly believe how much my high porosity hair loves that product! Out of everything I’ve tried so far it is now one of my very favorites and I can’t get over how great it is in my hair. And it’s so affordable! I would have *never* tried it if it wasn’t for you. I’m so in love with Camille rose atm (very late to the game) my favourite leave in so far in my life is the CR honey leave in. I’ve never tried a product like it, gives moisture for days! I also love the CR aloe whipped butter gel ❤️

I never had any hair issues with Deva. I stopped using the cleansers cuz I was not a fan, but still using the stylers and deep conditioners regularly. The Bleavein is my holy grail! I track my hair closely so if there is a change, I will know and be able to find locate the cause.
I would love for you guys to share more about the Morrocan Oil line of products for natural hair. I am really only familiar with the Morrocan Oil, which is fabulous! I'd buy more if I knew more in the line to try.
Hi ladies! Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel is my boo! I’ve used it for years and it never disappoints. I have 4B hair so I do use the Camille Rose Curl Maker with it for improved definition and hold. I also love UFD Curl Magic- ah-mazing product. Bought the Alikay Lemongrass leave-in b/c of the rave reviews but against better judgement for MY hair... as I suspected- 👎🏽 b/c of the glycerin. I returned to natural 7 years ago and learned early on thru trial and error that my hair is high porosity, medium density with fine strands and just doesn’t like coconut or glycerin at all. I’m thankful to your channel to learn of the Nature’s Little Secret line as they check ALL of the boxes for my finicky “Fleur”. ( that’s what I call my tresses) 😂 Looking forward to trying those products out in the very near future. 🙏🏽♥️

Although I’ve been tempted to try pattern pusha by curl junkie i am hesitant due to one of the ingredients it contains: Diazolidinyl Urea same ingredient found in the controversial deva curl products; it’s also found in curl junkie’s repair me which i loved but got rid of bc of the same issue; Love your locs both of you!
Great video as always! I reached for my Moroccan oil mousse after seeing Lorianne’s hair and I had a great wash n go. Deva products are cancelled for me. I used to use almost all devacurl products, but I can tell my hair feels healthier and fuller now without them.

I got my curl junkie order in today. I got the pattern pusha and the curl queen leave it. I loved them both. It tamed my frizz while still leaving my hair light and fluffy just how I like it. It’s going in my fave box with Camille rose.

Lemongrass is one of my favorites and I would like to see the Alikay combination. I recently tried the Crème Bruleé for the first time and so far I like it. CurlMix Watermelon is also a favorite and I am trying allnof them (sample boxes). Just tried the Miche Bounce Curl Creme yesterday and I really like it. Other favorite stylers: Bask&Bloom More Moisture, Curls Leave-In and Gel, Adwoa Beauty Leave-In and Curl Creme, and Miche Beauty Leave-In. I will be trying a few more over the next few months.🥰

I use the Moroccan oil curl defining Moose with Ouidad Vita Curl Tress Effects gel. My stylist 1st used in my hair and I love the way it turns out when she does it. For some reason it looks better when she does it than when I style it at home.
I wonder if it is a Northeast thing with the glycerin? My hair doesn't seem to like a whole lot of glycerin. BTW...received my tshirt and sweatshirt...love love love them! Can't wait to be able to get out of the house just to wear them and show them off! 💖

Great video ladies!!! Honestly i wasn't pressed to get Deva Curl products, because my pocketbook dictates my spending. I only tried the Coconut Curl Elongator cream and the high shine spray. They were good products and i didnt have an issue and before everything happened with them and the world ive found other products that work just as good if not better at a fraction of the price. Only thing I didnt like was most of their styling products is that glycerin was the main second ingredient. I live in the south and when summer hits, I can't use it. Curlmix has been on my wishlist for a minute. 😊❤

I've really been liking the Zotos all about the curls cream! I usually pair it the soft definition gel. I haven't used Deva since 2018, I think most people started throwing away their products after Spisha came out with her video, although the curlninja followers had already canceled the brand like 6 months before hand I think...
I’ve continued to still using the DevaCurl products the arc angel gel and styler maker and have had no problems those are the only 2 products I’ve used from them but I also mix my products so I’m not sure if that’s why I haven’t had no issues

Morrocanoil is a standard for me. That mousse is bomb & cocktails nicely with all kinds of products; my curly stylist turned me onto it. Talk about “clumpage”? I combo it with DevaCurl Believe-in (which I’m not scared to still use) & some kind of leave in, and my type 4 coils get big & juicy. And throw a little Uncle Funky’s gel in the mix?? The shine!!! Also use the serum (the silicones help lock in moisture after a wash, and I shampoo regularly, so #notbothered). I’ve been eyeing the brand’s body lotion & other products on Nordstrom’s site - ❤️ that scent!
Hey Ladies....I’m in need of a really good moisturizing, health promoting, and easy to access leave in & gel. I’ve been going back and forth between buying CurlMix & CurlSmith. If you could only buy one which one would you buy? I lean toward CurlMix cause they are Black owned and located in Chicago....and I’m from ChiTown!

I have a few gmail accounts & I'm currently signed in under my other account rather than the one tied to ILTLOO. :) Uncle Funky's does leave a cast, but it's easy to break with a little oil. It's not a super hard cast, like Wetline gel. I like a good cast, though; that's how I know I'll get good hold for my wash n go's. Uncle Funky's is a good, all around gel. They used to have a sampler/travel pack of products on their website, which included a small bottle of the gel, which might be a good way for you to try out the products without committing to the full-sized bottles. I haven't been on their website lately, but if you're interested in trying the gel, maybe you could check to see if they have the sampler/travel pack. :)
One of my favorite products right now is the Obia Curl Enhancing Custard...the most unassuming product! I'm so glad I decided to just go for it and try it, it's deff a new staple for me! I almost have sent one to you guys, but since your P.O. box is under construction I will patiently wait! Great video, though! I love Vernon Francois styling cream, Shea Moisture Sacha Inchi Onega 3 6 9 gel and their curl defining smoothie (both 💣), Aveda be curly curl enhancer, and Mo Knows Hair curl smoothing pudding the best. I also really like Design Essentials curl forming custard (it plays nicely with so many other creams).
I just received my Curlsmith scalp line stylers. Can’t wait to try them. I use and like the moisture line products. My favorite is Uncle Funky’s Daughter as one and done or with Melanin Haircare Leave In. And I always return to Camille Rose Curlmaker as one and done or with any of her leave ins. Let’s see if Curlsmith bumps Uncle Funky’s Daughter. I’ll be trying the new line this weekend. 🤓. I really want to try Pattern Pusha but it is not sold anywhere near me #madcurlsmademedoit
I love how consistent you are-makes me feel like I can trust when you love a product. And I do! Your recommendations have never been wrong and I’m enjoying the Irish Moss styling cream recommended by Tay 👍🏾 I rotate with my other current favorite the Adwoa styling cream. For summer I will probably go lighter (I’m loving Innersense and their leave in is incredible) but maybe I will look into the Curl Smith one too. UFD Curly Magic will always be in my stash ✨

Dee H I hope you get to try Innersense. It saved my hair when it was shedding this winter. The stylers have a learning curve though. I just discovered Adwoa. I’m 3b and my hair loves it. And it gives me some elongation. I’m glad I don’t follow the hair typing because I would have missed them. Its definitely not for those who want a light and blowy wash and go. I still recommend them because the brand is awesome and I want to support their success.

I have seen your video on how you refresh your hair but I would love to see what LoriAnne does at night to her hair. I have dense hair a little longer than LoriAnne and I don't do wash n gos because of I haven't found a good way to put it up at night without losing definition and gaining so much frizz.

I absolutely LOVE the smell of the Lemongrass Leave-in, but my hair cannot take it in anything but VERY minimal doses (which makes me want to cry...because I love the smell so much). The size of a nickel is about all my hair can take and I can only use it if my hair is UBER moisturized before. :-( :-(
No I am not using DevaCurl…..I did not have a problem, but I was very disappointed how DevaCurl handled the whole situation. Their products cost serious money and to not really address all of their consumers with real information, I was not pleased. So to me you really don't care about your customers. So I can choose where I spend my money. I need to give CRN butter gel another chance. I don't think my first experience was great, so I will try again. My favorite gel is still CRN Curlmaker, I love it because it mixes well with other brands and I always get a good wng. I used it with Pattern Beauty and Miche Leave-In and got great wash and go's that last for a week.
I have products that I love but cant use it all the time. One combo like this is the shea moisture jbco leave in with the shea moisture smoothie... I can use it once or twice back to back... after that my hair needs a break and I can use it again like a month later. I don't know why...
amigasyrizos It’s probably building up on your strands & preventing moisture from getting in. Those products are great, but they’re heavy duty. I have fine type 4b strands, medium density, so u can’t use both. If I happen to use the smoothie, i def use a light hand & give my hair a good shampoo afterwards. Then I’m fine. Hope that helps!

well actually devacurl put EVERYTHING on sale on ultas website. On the devacurl site it's 25 off sitewide. that is fishy because they NEVER have been that nice to give that type of sale... so i wonder what's really going on. My stance is i'm still not taking the chance to wait and see is devacurl will give me issues or not.
I agree. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Ulta had Devacurl on sale. They never have Devacurl on sale! Sales are probably down and they need to get rid of product before they "Expire". It is very fishy indeed.

No deva curl for me. My hair is the worst it’s been in a long time. I wish I would’ve appreciated it when it was in its best state. Now I’m sad and my curls do not last.
sc p I felt the same. Smells nice, but I like their bounce curl cream better. It works much better for me paired over their leave in. Makes my hair really moisturized, especially if I use the LOC method (I have high porosity hair)

I've really been liking the Zotos all about the curls cream! I usually pair it the soft definition gel. I haven't used Deva since 2018, I think most people started throwing away their products after Spisha came out with her video, although the curlninja followers had already canceled the brand like 6 months before hand I think...
I’ve continued to still using the DevaCurl products the arc angel gel and styler maker and have had no problems those are the only 2 products I’ve used from them but I also mix my products so I’m not sure if that’s why I haven’t had no issues

Morrocanoil is a standard for me. That mousse is bomb & cocktails nicely with all kinds of products; my curly stylist turned me onto it. Talk about “clumpage”? I combo it with DevaCurl Believe-in (which I’m not scared to still use) & some kind of leave in, and my type 4 coils get big & juicy. And throw a little Uncle Funky’s gel in the mix?? The shine!!! Also use the serum (the silicones help lock in moisture after a wash, and I shampoo regularly, so #notbothered). I’ve been eyeing the brand’s body lotion & other products on Nordstrom’s site - ❤️ that scent!
Hey Ladies....I’m in need of a really good moisturizing, health promoting, and easy to access leave in & gel. I’ve been going back and forth between buying CurlMix & CurlSmith. If you could only buy one which one would you buy? I lean toward CurlMix cause they are Black owned and located in Chicago....and I’m from ChiTown!
Great video, as always, ladies! Uncle Funky's NEVER lets me down. And I never liked Deva, either. Those products ALWAYS flaked in my hair from day 1

I have a few gmail accounts & I'm currently signed in under my other account rather than the one tied to ILTLOO. :) Uncle Funky's does leave a cast, but it's easy to break with a little oil. It's not a super hard cast, like Wetline gel. I like a good cast, though; that's how I know I'll get good hold for my wash n go's. Uncle Funky's is a good, all around gel. They used to have a sampler/travel pack of products on their website, which included a small bottle of the gel, which might be a good way for you to try out the products without committing to the full-sized bottles. I haven't been on their website lately, but if you're interested in trying the gel, maybe you could check to see if they have the sampler/travel pack. :)

I just started using foam. Have you tried a foam with Uncle funky's daughter curly magic gel? It worked well with my Eden papaya castor oil foam.
One of my favorite products right now is the Obia Curl Enhancing Custard...the most unassuming product! I'm so glad I decided to just go for it and try it, it's deff a new staple for me! I almost have sent one to you guys, but since your P.O. box is under construction I will patiently wait! Great video, though! I love Vernon Francois styling cream, Shea Moisture Sacha Inchi Onega 3 6 9 gel and their curl defining smoothie (both 💣), Aveda be curly curl enhancer, and Mo Knows Hair curl smoothing pudding the best. I also really like Design Essentials curl forming custard (it plays nicely with so many other creams).
I just received my Curlsmith scalp line stylers. Can’t wait to try them. I use and like the moisture line products. My favorite is Uncle Funky’s Daughter as one and done or with Melanin Haircare Leave In. And I always return to Camille Rose Curlmaker as one and done or with any of her leave ins. Let’s see if Curlsmith bumps Uncle Funky’s Daughter. I’ll be trying the new line this weekend. 🤓. I really want to try Pattern Pusha but it is not sold anywhere near me #madcurlsmademedoit

I love how consistent you are-makes me feel like I can trust when you love a product. And I do! Your recommendations have never been wrong and I’m enjoying the Irish Moss styling cream recommended by Tay 👍🏾 I rotate with my other current favorite the Adwoa styling cream. For summer I will probably go lighter (I’m loving Innersense and their leave in is incredible) but maybe I will look into the Curl Smith one too. UFD Curly Magic will always be in my stash ✨

Adwoa and Innersense are 2 lines we hear lots of talk about. We haven’t tried either line yet. Perhaps they will be in our future ☺️
M.A.D.CURLS Not sure if you’d dig Adwoa. That line was really created with the Type 4s in mind, but you never know. It could wind up being a gold mine.
Dee H I hope you get to try Innersense. It saved my hair when it was shedding this winter. The stylers have a learning curve though. I just discovered Adwoa. I’m 3b and my hair loves it. And it gives me some elongation. I’m glad I don’t follow the hair typing because I would have missed them. Its definitely not for those who want a light and blowy wash and go. I still recommend them because the brand is awesome and I want to support their success.

I have seen your video on how you refresh your hair but I would love to see what LoriAnne does at night to her hair. I have dense hair a little longer than LoriAnne and I don't do wash n gos because of I haven't found a good way to put it up at night without losing definition and gaining so much frizz.

I absolutely LOVE the smell of the Lemongrass Leave-in, but my hair cannot take it in anything but VERY minimal doses (which makes me want to cry...because I love the smell so much). The size of a nickel is about all my hair can take and I can only use it if my hair is UBER moisturized before. :-( :-(
Love CurlMix, is the Lemon/Watermelon fragrances strong? I only use the unscented because I don’t like strong scents.
I would say that the Lemon Creme scent is not strong, the watermelon scent definitely is however the smell doesn’t linger -TA

No I am not using DevaCurl…..I did not have a problem, but I was very disappointed how DevaCurl handled the whole situation. Their products cost serious money and to not really address all of their consumers with real information, I was not pleased. So to me you really don't care about your customers. So I can choose where I spend my money. I need to give CRN butter gel another chance. I don't think my first experience was great, so I will try again. My favorite gel is still CRN Curlmaker, I love it because it mixes well with other brands and I always get a good wng. I used it with Pattern Beauty and Miche Leave-In and got great wash and go's that last for a week.

I have products that I love but cant use it all the time. One combo like this is the shea moisture jbco leave in with the shea moisture smoothie... I can use it once or twice back to back... after that my hair needs a break and I can use it again like a month later. I don't know why...
amigasyrizos It’s probably building up on your strands & preventing moisture from getting in. Those products are great, but they’re heavy duty. I have fine type 4b strands, medium density, so u can’t use both. If I happen to use the smoothie, i def use a light hand & give my hair a good shampoo afterwards. Then I’m fine. Hope that helps!

well actually devacurl put EVERYTHING on sale on ultas website. On the devacurl site it's 25 off sitewide. that is fishy because they NEVER have been that nice to give that type of sale... so i wonder what's really going on. My stance is i'm still not taking the chance to wait and see is devacurl will give me issues or not.
I agree. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Ulta had Devacurl on sale. They never have Devacurl on sale! Sales are probably down and they need to get rid of product before they "Expire". It is very fishy indeed.

yes, almost all their products have glycerin, although it is lower on the product list in the newer styling products

I tried the Miche twisting cream and buttercream wasn’t impressed
sc p I felt the same. Smells nice, but I like their bounce curl cream better. It works much better for me paired over their leave in. Makes my hair really moisturized, especially if I use the LOC method (I have high porosity hair)
