@thegrandfinale2 There is an investigation on the fisa warrants so that will be interesting. Not sure if there is anything on Clinton at the moment but then the Fisa warrant investigation maybe open up a whole can of worms. Just finished the Mueller report. Yep 400 + pages! Here is what will help. Scroll through the first 200 pages, there are lots of redactions, go back later if you want to claim you read the entire report. Start where it begins to re-number, that's a more narrative part and read through the story in sections, along with an analysis for each these sections that is awesome reading. Keep going you'll finally get the whole story. Mueller's team have explained everything, Including how they used information to piece the narrative together. If you lean left you're going to really enjoy learning why Barr's summary upset the Mueller team. It was a total mischaracterized version of the true events. Get the truth.

    • @MichaelSmith-xb5cp

Hey Bonnie....did you read this part?
A threshold legal question is whether providing to a campaign “documents and information” of the type involved here would constitute a prohibited campaign contribution.
The foreign contribution ban is not limited to contributions of money.
The phrases “thing of value” and “anything of value” are broad and inclusive enough to encompass at least some form of valuable information.
These authorities would support the view that candidate-related opposition research given to a campaign for the purpose of influencing an election could constitute a contribution to which the foreign-source ban could apply.
A campaign can be assisted not only by the provision of funds, but also by the provision of derogatory information about an opponent.
Political campaigns frequently conduct and apply for opposition research.
A foreign entity that engaged in such research and provided resulting information to a campaign could exert a greater effect on an election, and a greater tendency to ingratiate the donor to the candidate, than a gift of money or tangible things of value.
At the same time, no judicial decision has treated the voluntary provision of uncompensated opposition research or similar information as a thing of value that could amount to a contribution under campaign-finance law.
Such an interpretation could have implications beyond the foreign-source ban, see 52 U.S.C. 30116(6e) (imposing monetary limits on campaign contributions), and raise First Amendment questions.
Those questions could be especially difficult where the information consisted simply of the recounting of historically accurate facts. It is uncertain how courts would resolve those issues.
Accordingly, taking into account the high burden to establish a culpable mental state in a campaign-finance prosecution and the difficulty in establishing the required valuation, the Office decided not to pursue criminal campaign-finance charges against Trump Jr., or other campaign officials for the events culminating in the June 9 meeting.
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most critical to note about Mueller’s legal reasoning and ruling not to charge Donald Trump Jr. for meeting with Natalya Veselnitskaya on 9 June 2016, was that it in no way whatsoever applied to Hillary Clinton-as unlike Trump Jr., she had actually paid millions-of-dollars to blatantly conspire with foreign nationals to affect the outcome of the 2016 US Presidential Election-and is why, as outlined on pages 189-191 of the Mueller Report [not all viewable], Special Counsel Mueller turned over the criminal case against Hillary Clinton to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) this past January-2019-whose first act was to criminally charge Natalya Veselnitskaya with obstruction of justice-who today remains a wanted fugitive from US justice as Russia has no extradition treaty with the United States-and whose further 12 other criminal indictments are yet to be revealed.
You thinky that this may have something to do with the reason the Dems are so desperate to unmask those redactions?

@@2006glg Actually, I think it's more than that.
My generation (born in 1947) pretty much invented Rock 'N Roll music.
Starting in the '40s and '50s the young song writers had a clean slate to work on.
Combining Blues, Country, Jazz, Boogie Woogie and Rhythm and Blues they created an entirely new type of music.
I think the good music has just been used up.
      It's as simple as that.
You can only arrange the 8 notes in a scale in a finite order and timing before the song will start to sound like something that's already been written.
Young kids today want their own music to identify with, but it's kind of sad what they're being given.
I mean we really had it great! Complete freedom. Free to go wild and crazy and experiment to the top.
It's really hard now to write different, new, exciting music that has the power of the '50s through '90s music.
It's not just the music of our youth that we grew up with and remember as being the best.
It's more than that. It IS THE BEST!
There will never be any more super groups like Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers, AC DC, Cream, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others.
      Too many to list.
How many times have you heard someone say, "Thanks dad (or Grandpa or Jesus, Great Grandpa! Man, I'm gettin old! :-) for introducing me to your music."?
Even the "one hit wonders" produced some great music before fading from sight.

Alessia C***** : But, just watch, as we sit on our hands, while Trump does stop these testimonies? Look at what he did with the IRS? They had no, “standing,” legally, and should have done their jobs and handed over the Tax Returns. Trump’s lawyers should have been indicted for incitement and conspiracy, for persuading the IRS to brake the law. But, we didn’t rise up, when they broke the law for Trump? These matters will go from court to court, until they reach one of Trump’s rigged courts. Perhaps the Supreme Court? Why should we think that Democracy will suddenly come back, when it’s already over? We do NOTHING about it, and they WILL break one law after another, until we finally get it. They have ENDED Law and ENDED Democracy. None of this matters any more

    • @doloresreynolds8145
      @doloresreynolds8145 5 лет назад +9

There is clear evidence of Trump's culpability in the Mueller report. Mueller could only pursue investigations directly related to the question 'Has anyone in Trump's campaign helped the Russian effort to affect the outcome of the 2016 election?' Mueller mentioned that he could not indict a sitting president due to Justice dept rules. Basically, the Mueller report said 'Here is all the evidence that we found but that we aren't allowed to use, so Congress needs to take this evidence and use it themselves to pursue the investigations of illegality.' Mueller cannot use it but Congress can use it and further evidence they might find to impeach Trump. Once Trump is no longer in office (whether he is impeached or just loses the election) he can then be indicted for any and all crimes he committed.

The Trump presidency has been in a state of 4 alarm chaos since it started. And I really, really hope it is brought to a conclusion early rather than be allowed to extend its chaos and detriment for a full 4 years.
But it just occurred to me that there are young people out there in the country -- maybe between eleven or fourteen years old, who don't really remember the previous presidency because they paid no attention. And so for them, this chaos, bumbling incompetence, and antagonism to _everyone_ that doesn't fall in lock step with its vitriol.... all that stuff will be considered "normal" for those kids. They may realize that it's not right, perhaps, but with no real point of reference, all this _noise_ will be mentally catalogued as "just how a President acts." At least until they get more perspective, or see the next President (hopefully Bernie?) acting like an actual leader who is looking out for the country and not just himself.

It boggles the mind no one is talking about Rod Rosen Stein who is now a private citizen to testify!

How important it is to do a retrospective of 2017-2021. Just in case anyone has forgotten about the daily stress, lies and fear when that Unprecedented creature was destroying our democracy. Yay Rachel! Where did your Pirate’s ring go?

@@lynnwilhoite6194 Not at all I assure you. Ms Maddow is one of the best things in my life. So precise in her dissection of the nonsense we are inundated with, but funny with it. She is far beyond a star. I was just trying to get into the spirit of the thing. Rachel explained at the start of the clip that the word was "Whoomp", but a few minutes later she says something different don't remember what exactly. I thought she should revert to the original text.

The good thing about the Dems is they are not losing enthusiasm one loss after another! Amazing!
