Definitely weigh out the pros and cons of each option from both a financial and personal standpoint. Rents are high too so it could make sense to rent if you don’t mind the hassle of being a landlord. Hey, do u think the condo market in Gta will drop at all? A 3-bed condo in going for 5 hundred thousand right now how much would it drop by summer 2023?
Hi Mark! I am not familiar on the GTA Market , is that Greater Toronto area? I think all home values are going to be contingent on how high the interest rates go, and how low unemployment stays ..so it’s hard to say this early.. I would advise you to watch both those things. Home prices may come down a little but I don’t see huge drops unless interest rate goes up outta sight. The demand for homes is what drives the market
If condos are selling within 2-3 weeks in GtA that means the demand is still high right now and if that’s the case price wouldn’t drop drastically by summer most likely. Things change so quickly in the ever changing economy so it’s very hard to predict! Are you looking to buy a condo or sell a condo there?
