Metal Slug is probably the *ONLY* series that can get away with having the same final boss theme in every game and still be a rush of adrenaline.
Metal slug 1, 4 and 6 have different final boss themes. In ms1 and 6 is actualy the final level music

I'd say that metal slug 5 and metal slug 7 have the best final attack versions
5 is good because it's heavy metal
And 7 is good because it's all orchestrated
Something about the blend of classic one and militaristic feeling in the Neo Geo sound font tawang gets me that makes 3 my favorite, but 5 is pretty fucking good too, XX is actually my number 3 mainly because it feels a little bit over done, if it was metal orchestral, I would of been more appealed by it.
Hearing this song make my spirit is burned out to eliminate final boss

did the first Metal Slug even have Final Attack? I'm pretty sure it's just stage music that played against Morden. Metal Slug 5 is indeed the best song, but nothing tops Metal Slug 2/X moment when Final Attack played and the Rebel Army helping you for one epic fight against the Aliens.

@@rootmars0012 Hay 2 factores importantes que tome en cuenta para agregarla o no, el 1ro fue que sonara la mayoría o gran parte de un verdadero Final Attack, lo cual la versión de MS6 no lo hace más que el principio. 2do y mas importante (en mi opinion) es que suene o se reproduzca durante el jefe final lo cual no pasó y en su caso sono Discharge
