nice review. I love my strumstick. Also interesting is the Pocket Mando, while not as easy to play as a strumstick it is really well made and looks similar (although quite a bit shorter)
I highly suggest playing this instrument with longer nails, I completely forgot that the strings are actually banjo strings and after playing with it for a bit with my long nails (that I keep forgetting to cut) I was amazed by how much more authentic is sounds... Let alone the ease of use when you nails just slide perfectly across the strings...
I want one so bad haha! I been doing a lot of research on them, hope to get one soon for my hiking/camping trip.

I would classify the McNally Strumstick as a 3-string trail dulcimer.

Is the sound richer in the fancy wood Strum Sticks compared to the standard ones that Mcnally has?
