Make sure those caps are FULLY discharged before inserting them into the molten conductive metal.....
The molten conductive metal automatically discharges them.
I would just nip to my local Scrap Merchant for some lead pipe. Melt it in a pot to skim the impurities off, before using it.
That doesn't work as it flows very badly and damages the components on the board due to its higher melting point.
