- It's burnt orange in color with a silver hardtop roof and throughly stunning - 1966 Chevrolet Caprice Custom coupe owned and restored by Tom O'Brien of Windsor Locks, CT. RIDE-CT spotted it at a car show at Brignole Vineyards in East Granby, CT and had to learn about it.
This gave me the motivation to finish mine
Great! I'm always amazed by the skill and talent of the owners that I come across.
THAT 66 CAPRICE IS A DREAM CAR
You are so right!
Absolutely beautiful build by that guy, Awesome stuff 😊👊
Cheers🍺🍻 KC Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🇳🇿🤝😎👍✌
Thanks. The guy did an amazing job. A lot of thought went into it. Glad I stumbled across him.
Beautiful car, Tom! I just bought a 1966 Caprice as well. It's white with turquoise interior. Buckets and console, 327 275 hp with a power glide and a 10 bolt posi rear. It's not as pretty as yours, but it's quite nice. I've owned it for 5 weeks now.
I agree 100%. I’ve had my ‘66 Caprice 327/275 for just over a year now. I’m going a different way with mine, but seeing this video is absolutely inspiring. Great job Tom!
That Hood aint stock ! Look silly on that Caprice !
Not original anymore painted lower valance should be silver cowl induction hood that on right front doesnt line up wrong wheels had a 66 bel air wagon painted firethorne metallic which is correct gm factory color when u change things its not original anymore
that 66 Chevy caprice looks the same as 66 chevy impala SS
The '66 Impala SS had the fastback roofline, which was the same as the regular Impala..
Cowl hood not original
True but it's still stunning.
What’s it matter how original the car is when you didn’t do stock paint and added a fucking hood scoop that shit is hardly original 😂😂😂 wheels aren’t original ,so again why claim it’s original
I'm guessing the owner was referring to structural and larger parts. He did do a nice job with it, but, yes, it has been personalized.
