We're leaving the 2010s. What a decade it's been.
I wanted to write something that sort of encompassed the last 10 years- my scrappy, perhaps under-polished but hopefully catchy and melodic style- and sees off the last decade with a firm handshake. I hope you enjoy it.
And… for those of you who have been with me for a decade, or even just a hint longer, I cannot thank you enough for being part of the journey. I never would've thought it'd have carried on this long, or gone this far. To have traveled the world, met incredible people, and had my mind opened to the world of new and classic music alike, has been an experience I'll cherish; but to do so AND have one of the most incredible, supportive communities on the internet cheering me on is truly exceptional. Bless and thank you all.

The era of the 2010s soon ends, and this, Odyssey's last track for the decade (I presume), is what I can see as only a fitting end for such a time of twists and turns. Getting _The Top_ and _When The Sun Goes Down_ into the official Initial D arcade games, collaborating with experienced creators from different Eurobeat labels, working with folks from Touhou circles to make Touhou Eurobeat with 'em, it's been nice bein' with y'all and seeing how lil' ol' Travis has improved over the years.
Here's to more years of hi-NRG to come, my friends.
With how fast he pumps out songs, he's probably going to release another one on December 31st that is actually meant to commemorate the decade

This song feels like it was made for my current situation.
I wrote off my Kart in a race event this weekend, and its beyond repair, We have just spent over 3 grand purchasing a new one to race.
It can now carry the torch, the infamous 171, a number which stands for speed, strengtb, and power.
Now finally, the machine that has kickstarted my career and been an absolute sweetheart throughout thick an thin, shall be put to rest.
R.I.P Anderson, I will miss you.

My dream Legacy is a BD5 with a EZ30 Engine swap and maybe a small turbo for reaching around 290 HP.
@@elbenja0088 if you can, go for a BP5 instead, they'll be worth a lot more in ten years. Get the automatic 5EAT, it can handle.more torque than the manual. Also you can make 290 easy with en EJ255 with uppipe, downpipe, fuel pump, injectors, catless exhaust and tune.

Anyways, I like H6 lot more, probably because of the sound. I think I can go to 300 with some small modifications like exhaust, ECU and some things I can't think right now. The turbo would be a extra If I have enough money

When i first listened to this, i just thought it was like the other Odyssey's eurobeat tracks, but i had to rethink my opinion after 10-15 listens.
The vibes are pretty much unique, and starting at 1:01 it really feels like a credit roll for the 2010-2019 decade that's going to end.
I'm very unsure about the future, i have lots of fears but also things i want to achieve: i hope i'm going to keep on living without regrets, always at my full potential.

This is so emotional... :') The vocals, the lyrics, those melodies in the background, the ambient synths... Indubitably one of my favorites originals from you.
The "time" theme and the "Ten years" is also emotional for me because of Pink Floyd's song "Time" and its lyrics "And then one day you find ten years have got behind you" (and what comes next).
I've only become a brony in 2014 so I've only been following you since then, but I'm still happy I got to catch up with your music catalogue and see all the new stuff you've been making. Meeting you at the last BronyCon was amazing, and this song now feels like another powerful moment

I can't help but think that this song refers to the My Little Pony and how Odyssey made Eurobeat inspired by it under the name Eurobeat Brony. MLP Friendship is Magic, that ended just some months ago, after 9 years of runtime.
It "broke out" in every nation, becoming more popular, creating new legacy. And now, a new generation of the show is coming in the future, taking a new direction and resurrecting as "a new existence" but "shining down" on the legacy of earlier generation.
Obviously, the song probably does not actually have anything to do with this, but it's just too fitting.

I stand here and think of what could happen in the next 10 years, what things in our lives could change and who I could be in 2029.
By 2029 many of us would've graduated college, many of us will have a loved one and many of us will be married and will have kids.
