I was thinking SU-27 would be a great option for the dual 40 mm set up and should be easy to scalenyp if you wanted to do a 50mm version too. I made an SU-27 and its my best flying foamboard plane so far, i looked to RC Powers for design ideas.
@@Catfoolyou so I’ve had tons of experience hot wire cutting foam sectioned jets from Lowe’s and Home Depot foam. Yes the airframe will be possibly 100g lighter but it’s actually less durable than LW or EPP / EPO foam planes. Insulation foam planes usually need a layer of fiber glass then you’re offsetting the weight
@@hotlapkyle True, though I've heard that LW-PLA (or any 3d printed airframe) is not very crash-resistant, so I tend to stick to XPS foamboard of different thickness.
You have to do a twin 40 f14 that is the clastic top gun fighter and it would be awesome, swing wing would be a bonus keep up the great work!
Great work, my friend. She was looking good out there. How about a sub 250g MIG -19...
@@AllConsumingJAWS thanks! That would be tough not being a prop plane
great plane
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 That thing looks sooo EPIC

This is awesome ! Have you looked at the current ngad fighter might be an interesting project for you
@@m14srv thanks! Yes I’ve actually designed a few concepts on what I think the NGAD may be. I’ll definitely get to it
printing one now , still want a sr71 bro the canopy will be reg pla clear, esc maybe need some naca vents ?
What if I send you a dji 03 air unit and other electronics so you can make an fpv version for me?
Can you remind me which EDF units, escs, and batt you're using?
@@markmiranda2881 if you click the listing I have the links posted there 👍🏻
Twin 40mm f15 or SU 27
@@bm150r you’re reading my mind 😄
@@hotlapkyle su27!
Would it be possible to CNC machine this from insulation foam to make it lighter and more durable?

I would love to build a F117n
@@robertorubio8231 I’ve been thinking about it!

what a great plane again. can you also design an f104? that is my dream rc model.
