- This is a song I’ve wanted to do for a long time and finally got the opportunity to. Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird" is one of the most challenging things I've ever had to play and record and I'm really excited to share it with everyone!
Sam Miller - Acoustic Guitar, 12 String Acoustic, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Bass, Synthesizer/Organ, Piano, Vocals.
Sam Moskowitz - Drums
I would like to thank Hoot/Wisdom Recordings, LLC for the use of their recording studios to record drums as well as the process to mix and master the song.
I would also like to thanks Professor Alejandro Sánchez-Samper of Florida Atlantic University for spending hours helping and teaching me how to mix and produce to get this song sounding how it does.

Holy Shit! Finally someone who understands there are two lead parts to Freebird. There are really about 6 guitars in the studio version. Admittedly the best cover I have ever seen period. Keep doing what you do.

Allen recorded 4 lead tracks and layered them. All 4 similar yet different. But this is only on the record. Allen playing Live far better and more complex. His live solo is 1976-77 is longer/ faster/ and more difficult.
Brandon Miller on the studio mix only 2 of the tracks made the cut. With the exception of a 8
Bar bit at about the 8:40 mark which is where the studio version fades out.

Great Job! Great Work! I had the Pleasure, and Experience of Seeing the Original Members of Lynyrd Skynyrd Perform Live back in the 1970's.
I've heard this song covered by a lot of people and this one is the best, I am most impressed with how much detail is the same as the original studio version
I'm not lying, I really got thrilled and tears came out of my eyes, 8:46 - This part is Allen Collins legit live version, for me he was one of the best guitar players and song producers of all time and you reproduced his soul in this cover. Pretty good! You can use a expander gate on vocals to clean that breathing sound.
Rosemberg Santos I actually used a compressor to bring out the breathing sound. It was an artistic choice to help make the take sound more intimate
