Sorry I missed you! Friday was dedicated to filming, but I tried to be in the booth as much as possible on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe I was taking my son for a walk at the time!

No freakin way dude!!! I was supposed to go to this expo but ended up not going. I didn’t realize I would have had the chance to meet you and check out your truck finally. Kicking myself hard for this one. My buddy Zach with snorkel upgrade said he got to meet you for a brief moment and I’m jealous. As always amazing work and keep it up. I know I m not suppose to be jealous of your adventures and your Tundra, but gosh its so nice. All of the items that you highlighted were kinda pricey, Did they have any booths with stuff that does not cost as much?

There are a few booths that sell regular gear, but a lot of them are featuring new and/or unique equipment, or are high ticket items like trailers that are worth showing at an event, and those typically have higher costs and prices associated with them due to small business and lower volumes.

I can see it being good for an Earthroamer style build, but I’ll stick with my $30 toilet or just digging a hole!
That's the biggest issue I have with overlanding today. Insane prices for products that aren't even necessary.
Overlanding isn’t necessary; it’s an expensive form of recreation. In any form recreation there are going to be different budgets and people who spend big money on frivolous things.
I love gadgets and have been camping for 35 years, I don't really see why I would buy any of this stuff.
I didn't buy anything here either, but liked the idea of some Sea Sucker stuff for mounting my cameras. Obviously I already have a couple of things, like the Anker C1000 and the SHW AluCab drawer systems, but they fill very specific needs.
@@RevereOverland random story - but my brother in law bought Sea Sucker stuff to attach a bike rake to his old Porche 911. It was ridiculous, but they were high quality suction cups and held really well.
i am a coffee drinker, and I am cringing... but i also love scientific experiments so... keep on with the "testing" your way. Thanks for the content. BTW: If you need cream and sugar, your opinion doesn't count on whether its GOOD coffee or not. Just saying.

@@RevereOverland It would have been great for us to know it had enough power to operate the coffee pot, watching the coffee being made hurt a little. I agree with wojo on taste test evaluations, really should know what coffee actually tastes like before you can offer an opinion. Now, go test with a prosumer espresso machine with a e61 head group and single boiler. LOL
