- In a move right out of communist East Germany, news has broken that the DHS’s Homeland Intelligence Experts Group wanted to turn mothers and teachers into informants who rat out their neighbors for “domestic extremism.” The since-disbanded panel was trying to collect information on Americans and “get into local communities in a non-threatening way.” And at one meeting, suggestions on how to do this included re-classifying political dissent as a “public health” crisis. Or, they could always get corporate America to snitch on their employees! If that’s not the Stasi, Glenn warns, what is?!

The one thing I think most people miss is the fact that we are a form of democracy. Democracy is when the citizens vote for their representatives. Therefore, we are a Constitutional Republic with a form of democracy. First and foremost a constitutional republic.

This isn't just "Biden's DHS" as you suggested in the title, it's the agency as a whole. After the agency has been created, I got curious because if the name, which reminded me of agencies the Germans used to have way back when, just using the term 'Homeland' instead of Fatherland. So i went and read the charter of it and it sure didn't disappoint. Reading the agency's charter made me think that we now have our own Gestapo, because it has some of the same duties. I rang the alarm bells for a while, but nobody listened because everyone fell for the government's line "It's all just for your protection". Now it's a little late in the game to change things

STASI is the correct analogy! We tend to use "gestapo" and National Socialist references too often and it just becomes background noise. Our national security state is much like STASI and most people have no idea what that means. Socialist East Germany is a much better reference and talking point for explanation and clarification. I've used the reference for years now.

Paying my Barclays MC via phone last week , several times reverted to AI recorded msg saying could not verify my account. Sent over to an operator who said they needed to verify that I have resided at same address for the last year. Back in the early 1990's my dad had a computer at Verizon that did exactly what Glenn Beck described about monitoring for key phrases or words and the computer would report it to the government and Verizon back then. I saw the computer with my own eyes and it is creepy. It would monitor all computers and possibly phone activity from what I could tell. That is all I know about it. So imagine what they can do now in the name of safety and security.
I am certain I saw my neighbor put something recyclable into the trash.

I want two elections in 2024. Before you feed that paper into that machine a copy needs to be made and put in a box. Those paper ballots need to be counted by hand. And then we compare the machine with the hand count. This we must demand for this election in November. It is the only way to find out whether these machines are fake or real counts.

9:00 worst part on this, you are there for effectively 1/2th(8hrs) of your (16hr) day or more with the data collected while you travel to and from work(1-2hrs)... so having them monitor you there tells a lot. also any of those smart devices... they are smart cause they will snitch on you if they are proprietary software and you can't look inside.
