My Hero Academia Mirko Unbox and Repaint!

Did a quick unboxing of the new Mirko figure from Ichiban Kuji. Unfortunately I didn't record the painting process so it's just the final result this time.

Beautiful work as always. A question for you Tamarind; do you typically clean and reprime the figures and then do all the acrylics by hand? Or do you paint directly onto the figure? I was shocked to discover there are some great painters out there who simply add definition and linework to these sorts of figures out of the box.

I do clean the figures first. But beyond that repriming depends on the figure itself. You don't really need when using lacquer paints.
