It puts a huge smile on my face to see your excitement with this new journey 😊 Whenever I need a "pick me up" or need to be inspired, I literally come here to RUclips to watch one of your videos 💖 You enthusiasm and energy is absolutely contagious 💯 Thank you for just being YOU 💞
Lots of people complain about Goodwill, but I love the place. Most of all of my resell items and furniture came from Goodwill. If it’s too expensive I don’t get it, but when it come to furniture it’s the best gig in town. I’m Super Blessed to have just the right stores for my needs!
me too! probably won't be till August. i haven't gotten my shop set up at the new house. too may other things going on right now. but i'm hopefully things will calm down soon
I don't know who's more excited for this new house--you to fill it or us to watch!!! You're gonna put Kilgore's on the map if you're not careful--then other people are gonna steal your rusty cute stuff!!😁
I love your videos. You could put one out everyday and I would watch them, I loved the baking tin, never seen one like that before. Will be exciting to watch you thrift for furniture and other decor for your home. Thank you for sharing with us.
My husband went to a thrift store with me last week. While I looked around, he found a chair to sit in. When I got to the furniture area where he had taken up residence for the short term, he called me over. He showed me a solid maple table that he pronounced the best deal in the place. It won’t be used as a table but parted out for the wood. And it had 6 spindle legs for my projects. Win…win.
Wow! I don't come across stores like Kilgores much any more. I love rusty junk also. Thank you for sharing the tour of your new neighbor. I appreciate your creative and enthusiasm.
That one at GW will the roll up bread section I actually have in my kitchen - bought it at Ashley Furniture brand new. I love it! If you have room it actually looks amazing AND what you didn't mention and might not know - that section under the bread roll up actually pulls out so when you have company and do like a buffet your of serving you can pull it out for extra table space! Love love love mine! I do understand the high prices thrift store - many of the GW in my area are like that now - but fortunately I do have 2 that are really reasonable along with a thrift store that benefits the vets and on holidays they do crazy discounts - spent like $50 on Easter and came home with hundreds of dollars in stuff!!! Really enjoying your videos! Love your personality - so bubbly! Blessings!
You are so darn cute when you get excited. I loved that coffee table and the first store would be my honey hole right and left. Looking forward to more.
Julie. You may want to look again at the two piece China cabinet with the roll top. The top piece was $50. I couldn’t tell how much the bottom piece was. But still a GREAT deal! You’re right, you are blessed to have that store! The prices are the BEST I’ve ever seen! And I’m so happy that you bought that coffee table! Cute as can be!
Julie, I love your excitement and can't wait to see your home once finished. I love love that roll-top desk you passed up at Goodwill...such a good buy and in good shape!!!
I’m so very happy for you that you have a Goodwill with good prices. They are supposed to price to move. I used to work there (my first job) They get everything for free and do not have the room to accumulate items. Yet, both of the Goodwill’s in my town now have outrageous prices. They make it impossible to buy items to flip and actually make some money. I have started to shop at my local thrifts stores that use all of their profits, minus overhead of course, go to the homeless. If I’m going to pay out the nose I want my money to go to a good cause. I unfortunately learned while I worked at Goodwill that they don’t always put their profits where they say they do. Greedy if I’m being honest.
You see a candle stand, I see a plant stand lol! But then I see everything as a potential planty thing. I'm interested in what you do with the canning thing, I've got one & haven't done anything with it yet.
Girl, I loved your last video of the first place you went, although I liked this one too. Thank you for sharing all these great moments. I’m so happy for you. I know you are surly excited about your move and all.
I love both items you picked up at Kilgore's! I also really love the idea you had for how to use the canning basket. Thank you for that repurpose idea! I enjoy all your videos so very much!
The metal container randomly hanging inside something else that caught your eye was an older angel food cake pan!😉❤ So excited to shop along with you in your new town!
OMG!! Kilgores is dreamy!! I would have bought the cheese mold. I’ve been looking for one! I can’t wait to see how you decorate your new home! Keep taking us along your thrifting adventures! ☺️
@@JuliesDesignsandSignsexactly! That's what us old ladies are for! We are so old we knew dirt when it was still a rock. We are antiques so of course we know a thing or three about them 😂
I would have purchased the hutch with the bread box!!! You scored big with the tray table style coffee table can't wait to see when you flip it!!!! Great ideas you have with the open basket you purchased great finds...Love watching you thrift and talk about it!!! Have a blessed and fabulous summer 😊❤
I bet you vibrating in place. You are so excited. I so worried you wouldn't be happy with the move, But girl you are finding new places and friends. Good on you!!
I have that hutch with the breadbox. We're painting it now, as I'm gifting it to my daughter for her dining room. It's now officially a family-hand-me-down. :) Also, that canning basket would be super cute as a lamp shade.
Julie, so happy to see you back thrifting !!!! I love your items you purchased and I can't wait to come and visit my sister b/c we are going to Kilgros FOR SURE !!! Thanks for sharing your new "Hidie Hole" with us ! Hope you have a great week !
How fun! Love shopping with you. Thanks for bringing us along! That China cabinet/Hoosier cabinet - the roll up area could be an appliance garage for blender, etc. In case you change your mind and get it.
You are hilarious, Kilgores looks like the most amazing honey hole, you are so lucky to have that, for sure you will find some wonderful pieces there. Enjoy! I love to go thrifting with you
The roll top desk, I just have to share, I found one just like it at my goodwill and I gave only 12 dollars for it. I consider it one of my greatest finds. It had no issues other than two small cloudy spots that were easily fixed. There are some great finds still out there. Looking forward to an estate sale this weekend, hope nothing comes up to spoil my plans.
Very nice walkthroughs. Loved the walkthrough at Kilgore’s. I know that the goodwill near me is expensive on a lot of their items. It’s nice to know that there are places that are reasonable. I hope you have a great day.
SO HAPPY you took us to KILGORE’S!!! I love that muffin tin that you bought. I was hoping that was gonna come home with you! I would LIVE at that store!!! Ha. Can’t wait to see what else you buy. Love and blessings to you!
I too love the baking tin...I bake but I've never come across one with three different designs in the same pan. Kilgore looks like a fantastic place. I hope you take us there often.
Thrifting beats cooking and baking! I don’t cook either. Hubby does...he says he likes his food to taste good. I turned the kitchen over to him years ago 😂😂😂
There was a pale blue picture that was so beautiful and I was drooling over it. Plus I'm so happy that you bought the rusted cake tin it is gorgeous and I love the big wire basket that comes from a huge canning pot for canning vegetables. I have to confess I'm jealous that you have all this wonderful places around to shop at. In North Carolina are Goodwill is priced too high for most everything and it's not a great big Goodwill because I live in a small town, but we do have a fabulous store second hand store where I have found some treasures for a dollar or something. I bought some percale crisp cotton sheets king size, for my daughter and son-in-law and it only cost $2 for the king size flat and the king size fitted and I was freaking happy! I wish they'd had it in queen size but all they had was King and twin. When are they going to start doing your flooring I thought it was going to be on the 5th of July which was yesterday? I'm dying to see the floors all done and the furniture that you choose, so that I can finally see how you decorate your new house. I'm so happy for y'all.
Always enjoy your thrifting trips. Kilgore for the win!! I could spend days at that place. I would have bought the rolling pins and the large $10.00 candle holder. Thanks for sharing with us.
I love a good antique store, I just can’t go look without buying something...All that old tin just like what you bought I love them, and the baskets. I like old jars and the ones that are colored those are my favorite.. I like the old dishes that are done in colt bolt blue love it...

Love the cupcake or muffin tin with different molds. I have one of those canning racks! I think I paid $3 for it and I was going to use it outside somewhere. Also have a newer model for canning. I may have to let the new one get rusty. Cute stuff. Loved the shopping trip.

The gun cabinet made over with chicken wire in the door, oh my! The best shop ever!
I’m pretty sure that large candle stick was an ashtray holder- I’m so showing my age. Now I’m on the hunt for old ashtray holders! Love the video
a wood ashtray? lol. i do need a cool ashtray. my husband likes cigars
I’m pretty sure that’s a plant stand.
