Gosh my place of birth has changed so much. I left home 39 years ago and now I disabled and in a wheelchair I shall never visit my homelands again which upsets me. It's lovely to be able to access all of these video's to remind me of what I have left behind.
Waterford is a great place, proud that I come from there, such an interesting history. Im always glad to get home from London to see my family back in Waterford.
Great Video. Showcases the city and part of the county very well. Would have liked to have seen the vista from up the Comeraghs looking down on the countryside and sea.
Where I live is where I want to stay, it's where all the best things happen.........a shot of Spraoi and then a pub......probably the only 2 things that you can do and the Spraoi comes once a year..........yea nice one.
Not a bad place compared to many Irish towns and cities.Lacks pedestrian crossings quite spaces and too hard to get good weed but gear is widely available
I live in waterford and its always dead. There is a festivel every 2 months and maybe some fireworks once a year. How about showing the overfilled, unemptied rubbish bins. The never on time bus service. the horrible nightlife. I live here becaause i have a job here and thats it!
Vitor Ferrighetto " You are totally wrong , Brasil is one of the most beautiful place in the workd. The only problem is its economy and how it has been divided along the years, plus the corruption of course. But the country and its beauties, has nothing to do with the way it has been governed !! 👍
@supermixer12345 i must say when i saw this this mornen i laughed but after It must it down to bein in no humour to be up for work at sevenish in the mornen. still no excuse for given the poor ll fella a hard time especially if he only round the corner so my apologies to him if he read it! i thik the waterford spelling in boi tho!
Laughable! City Square bulit an extension and it's never been occupied and since Debenhams closed that anchor unit is empty. Most of the retail units in Railway Square have always been empty. Two shopping centres in Ferrybank never opened. Waterford Airport hasn't had any flights since 2016. The little bit of the old crystal factory which hasn't been demolished is looking like the post apocalypse. Waterford is a sad & pathetic joke.
Nice to see local kids being proud of where they come from. That said, why do they propagate the myth that waterford(founded 914) is "ireland's oldest city"??? Dublin, established as a permanent settlement in 841 by the vikings, is much older and is therefore ireland's oldest city!
no idea...limerick was supposedly founded in 812 and Dublin settled on 988 being their founding. celebrated the millenium in 1988. Its not very clear which is definitively the oldest.

i went here on holiday in 09 we stayed in a beautiful cottage. The people were so friendly and Waterford itself was beautiful.
