Great video, nice and simplified. Wondering if you can help me, I have a made a session for myself using this same routing, and my issue is with the 2.0 downmixed print bus. Whn the downmixer aux channels are unmuted, signal seems to double, driving the print track into the red. When muted, monitoring and printing are perfect and reflect my mix properly. any insight as to what could be happening?? routing is 5.1 print bus, to 5.1/2.0 downmixer aux, to 2.0 mix Print track to Main output
is there a reason to use multiple outputs for routing the print tracks rather than sends from the individual routing folders, or those would give us the same result?
You are a great teacher, clear concise and likable. I genuinely appreciate you sharing your knowledge. 👍🏾
Thanks Marcus!
That‘ such a helpful tutorial, clear mind and great organized tracks. Appreciate it🎉
Excellent step y step explantation. Gonna help me a lot to create my template for a future 5.1 short film movie.
Thank you..very informative ,all 3 parts...was the link to the template ever posted ??? only came across these tutorials a day ago....
Very useful !! But What about filtering the LFE channel ?

routing is
5.1 print bus, to
5.1/2.0 downmixer aux, to
2.0 mix Print track to
Main output
So well explained. Thanks
Thanks, much appreciated!
Great Video , Thank you so much !
Love!
This is really helpful! Thanks!
What if I want to make an undipped 5.1 and stereo stem for MnE? I can’t seem to crack the routing :/
Good question, I'll create a video on that very soon...
Jon, did you make a mistake at 15:42 (and dialogue bus in the I/O at 16:38) where the flow chart says your channel width is 5.1 but should read 5.0?
Great videos!! perfect thanks and congrats!!

maybe for panning automation?
Wondering this, as well!
