@@isaiahheid9000 i was given my numbers and I'm being train to be a Sgt. In order to be a Sgt, you must be certified to pump and drive. And usually by the time you reach that level you have been on for a certain amount of time. Ive been on for 4 years in August

Great video but I have a question. How come you say "5111 on the air?" Is that to let the dispatcher and other firefighters know you are responding

Are you 5111, to hold a number, I assume that means your an Lt. or a Captain?
FF get 3 digit numbers and sgts and above get 4 digit numbers. Sgts are 51XX numbers and LT and above get 50XX numbers
