    I am doubtful of the 1895 date; as this has a "New York and Paris" announcement, which, as far as I recall, was not used until about 1899...

      This was recorded sometime from 1897-1899 but the song was first published in 1895, so that’s where the date comes from. At least that’s what I’ve read in the description on another video with this same recording. (It also has lyrics on screen!)
