David Henderson I agree with you! Julia was the most intriguing and possibly dangerous character if not multi-layered one on the show. I actually cried when we all thought she died and LOVED the shocking surprise ending featuring her return especially because they added her “also starring” credit at the end to drive home the shock value. A secret cellar door. It’s a vineyard. Who knew!

panloum No, not a rip off at all. This was better because the payoff was so big. No one could ever expect Julia’s shocking return and La Mirage needed a face lift anyway. Who allows candles in a hotel anyway? And why would Claudia place them by the drapes? Oh yeah. She was cray cray!
I loved Emma. As did Angela - she was the one person Angela really had a soft spot for and always treated with kid gloves.

This came first. Julia didn't die here. She escaped through a secret way out. Explained in season 4 to Lucas when she returns to him.
