Truck Camping with a Diesel Heater!

- Testing out the Vevor 5kw Diesel Heater in the roof top tent! It's so nice to finally have a good way to heat the tent when it gets cold. These units work really well once you get them working right. Hopefully this will allow us to camp for a longer period of time as we head into winter!

I take my extra hose and kind of hang it under the floor of tent. Heats floor which is nice. They have vents on etsy. A duct fan ran from the high point exhaust of tent works well, also from vevor

Awesome setup bro. I’m looking to pick one of these heaters soon here. Snow just restarted flying today so I need to get on it soon 😂. Want it to heat the canopy when I sleep in the back of it for my videos. Any helpful tips besides the Ad-ons mentioned in the video?
Ya they are awesome! I would just recommend you take the time to test it at home so you understand how to work it. You might get lucky and be able to run it directly to a 12v plug but if your getting an E-2 or E-3 error than you will need to use the AC adapter

@@avid.venture that’s the most ideal way to run it from what I understand. Power station takes some work. I bet you can run it with the wiring that comes with the heater then! Let me know how it works!

Hey Cole..I'm looking for a rtt for my F150 Tremor...Is your truck the 5.5ft short box? I need the big tent bit don't want to go higher than the cab for wind resistance.
Yes I have the 5.5 bed. I have only had experience with tents from 23 Zero but have had 3 of their tents. I currently have the Armadillo A3. It's a king size bed when open but hangs over my tailgate a few inches. The Armadillo A2 or X2 is the size of a Full XL and was too small of a sleeping area for me and my family. So you could do the Armadillo A3 or X3 but you will hang over your tailgate a tiny bit. Another options is the Walkabout 62 which is a queen size bed and fits perfectly on a 5.5 truck bed. But it's a soft cover and not a hardshell. Still a great tent but just takes slightly longer for setup and takedown. (It's also much cheaper which is a bonus).
