Hiwassee TUESDAY with THOMAS 8.6.24

Got to hit the water with my old buddy Doug *Thomas today. Great to see him again; it's been a little bit.
Fighting a bit of some sick, so my energy level was .... bleh ... but, gotta get out there to build it back up, when it's taken a lick.
Saw the squirt boaters at the needle practicing, but other than them, and a few random paddlers, we had the river more or less to ourselves.
The season is already starting to slow a little, sadly.
Hard to believe I've been doing this a solid year now (starting kayaking last August) ... time really does fly faster and faster, as the years zip on by.
This is the entire run, unedited ... so def fast forward past the slow stuff, but you won't see anything particularly spicy. Me and Doug both just did our old man thing, and surfed a ton. Him more than me today, but it was an absolutely stunning day, and the water was crisp and cold.
