I comfortably drive on FSD 100% now and I don't even have V13 yet and it is definitely Life/World changing IMHO. Gary Black does not understand FSD and the Robotaxis will launch next year no doubt in my opinion, and other OEMs will not be able to copy FSD. Happy New Year Lars!
Although I use FSD a lot and really enjoy it. I will disengage not because the car is driving badly but because I sometimes want to take another route for personal reasons such as I like to go past the neighborhood lake.
I've disengage many times, to go to a bath room, by accidentally grabbing the wheel, wanting to go a different route, bumping the brake, very few times for safety.

@nguyep4 13.2.2 has made turn lane mistakes at two spots thus far and it will repeat. On interstates, it's darn good about moving over for faster cars, also for overtaking slower cars, merging and giving people room to merge. I'm often in strange cities, and this is worth every penny.

I can't help wondering this, once FSD becomes unsupervised, who will be willing to buy a car without it? Even people who love driving will be tempted to buy an FSD car for the occasions when they need it, for example, to collect elderly relatives or to drop their teenage kids somewhere. Buying a car without FSD will be like buying a Blackberry phone in the Smartphone age. So all large-scale car makers will licence Tesla's FSD. Why? Because they will not be able to sell cars without self-driving and, if they sell a car with it, they will have to insure the car so they will want the best self-driving available. And that will be Tesla's.
L2 vs L4 is just a paper certificate. Tesla doesn’t care abt those thing. If you watch enough FSD video or experience it yourself , you will realize FSD drives more human like than Waymo. When a company opt to level 4, there are more responsibilities the company have to take on, at this stage, it’s not worth to get into such responsibilities until the robotaxi fleet is ready to roll out. It’s not deep state per se, more like Tesla is planning, building a solid foundation before aggressively expanding.
