I just recently realized the extent to which things were cut in the Higurashi Anime. If I'm not mistaken, this OST was associated with Shion's final moments in Meakashi-Hen? Reading the full version on the wiki, my throat tightened o_o

I haven't watched the anime but in the Visual Novel this track plays in a scene involving Rena in Tsumihoroboshi-Hen. I don't remember hearing it in Meakashi

It's not in Meakashi at all. It first appears in Tsumihoroboshi.

@@RapaOST yup it was only used in chapter 6 and mainly in the scene with rena and keiichi at the damp when they discover the bodys, the scene when keiichi remembers onikakushi-hen and in the end after the fight on the roof. The use of this song was so incredible good. I think it's my favorite bgm of the game
