Mostly because Adrian would probably only like Marinette if he knew she was Ladybug, and he should just love Marinette for who she is! Also, Marinette likes Adrian and not Chat Noir, and Chat Noir is what Adrian is ACTUALLY like, because when he is Adrian he has all of the pressure his father puts on him so he can't be himself, but when he is Chat Noir he no longer has that pressure, so he is free to act how he wants.
