Mine is Paros next door to the that one .I left my heart in Paros ...
I usually go to Naxos every year between mid-April and mid June. I'm enjoying it much more without the many tourist starting to arrive by the end of May.
And no sunbeds on the beach yet or just a few. I never use a sunbed anyway. I use the beach for a walk. From St. George to Stelida or from Ag Anna to Plaka and Mikri Vigla.
I like it best in mid September to October. I have even been there in November and loved it.
This seems like the most balanced time of the year for tourists. There are many people so the island feels more than alive, but it's not overcrowded! It looks just great...
On an unrelated note; when you're back to Athens, if you ever wanna discover a new place, the president opens the presidential palace (behind the parliament) almost every Sunday to the public. The garden looks amazing. She posts details on her Instagram page and from what I understood they host cultural events as well!
It was surprisingly fine. I do like the beach to be less crowded but otherwise it was good.

When I lived on Naxos some evenings I would take a cold beer and a snack to the beach and enjoy the peace. I am at Athens at the moment and how I miss that Naxos breeze /wind 😊

We were there the end of March 2023, only the slow (blue) ferry was running..only around 30 people got off .it was great, there were no beach chairs, restaurants in the morning had heaters in them...however when it was sunny I went for a swim ( freezing..but it'had to be done) wind picks up some days..I enjoyed Paros the island next door alot better, it was fantastic...

I was also at naxos for the 5th till the 10th of july! I've been to naxos several times in the past around the same time of the year (early july) and i must say that we were impressed with the insane amount of people that were there this year! Also I managed to get those exact 15€ sunbeds that you mentioned at Agios prokopios at around 11am. By 12pm that place was already full but I did hear that you could make a reservation too!
Yeah, if you went early then the cheaper beds are available. I didn’t go till around 2.
Tell me there's that old man with flashy pink shirt in Agios Prokopios yelling donuts 🤣 he was the highlight every time we were on that beach, curious about how good they taste though because never tried!!!😆
Yes, the donut man is still there. They are good. It’s just a sugar donut but they are big!
I can recommend the supermarket you mentioned at 15.18 opposite the cinema. If you are self catering like I do then it is part of a larger Greek chain and is similar to what you would find in supermarkets in France, Germany etc. It has a fresh meat and cheese counter, a good range of veg and fruits and a good wine section. Downstairs ( accessed by a smart travellator and not steps or escalators you find normal grocery items, so if you want a box of cereals to last your stay you will find them there. Also a very good health and beauty section so if you have forgotten your toothpaste or deodorant you will find it here. You can buy 6 packs of coca cola for example which will work out cheaper than individual cans from one of the small markets. Ideal if you are in the St George area. For those who want to avoid shopping on holiday all I can say is the money saved will go towards that extra drink in the evening.

Thank you for the video. I am planning my trip to Naxos and island hopping during April and May 2025. Most hotels online indicate no availability. Are they filled up that quickly? I'm going to Corfu, Naxos, and Crete.

The Greek islands are off limits to the Greek people due to the prices that you mentioned!There is no way I will pay the ridiculous prices for the seabeds or any service. I prefer the Peloponnyse ...its much cheaper ,great beaches and amazing food...!!
The Greeks were still there and renting sunbeds were I was. But of course, not all can as you say. I imagine they bring their own umbrellas.
