Your an inspiration to fellow turtle nerds!
Thanks for all you do.
Could have watched an hour long video of this stuff! My favorite species and a very important subject that needs more exposure! Love the work Garden State, Turtle Conservancy, and the Terrapin Project are doing! Would also love to know more about the holding tubs Chris is using to house them and whether or not he is actually running brackish water in them!
The Terrapins are beautiful. Glad people are working to save them.
You are living my dream! I wanted to become a herpetologist, move to Florida, and work with the wildlife there. But life kept me in Las Vegas. I love your channel and I greatly admire the work you are doing. I'm in the process of preparing my backyard, so I can get the permits needed to keep Mojave Desert Tortoises, which are a threatened species here. So, though I'm not in Florida, I'm still doing what I can for the native wildlife here. My DREAM though is to get a sulcada or two. Or maybe even a couple Aldabra. But I don't know enough about the animals to feel 100% confident that I can give them the best life possible. I have a lot more research before I feel like I'm ready for that. But your channel has taught me a lot. On a side note, I rescued a bearded dragon yesterday. I stole his name from you, and dubbed him Guapo. But I had to! He's such a handsome little dude! Enough of my rambling. I just wanted to let you know that I am very proud of the work you do. Everyone wants to save the cute and fluffies. But I think you are doing a great job educating people that our scaly friends are equally deserving of our love and protection as well! Kudos to you, and to the people you feature in your videos! Keep doing what you're doing! You're awesome!
Thank you for showcasing Diamondbacks. Out of all the turtles and tortoises in the world, a Diamondback Terrapin is my favorite (and my state turtle!!). I have seen videos where pet Diamondbacks are converted to freshwater (from brackish saltwater) for pet keeping and it looked like he had both fresh and brackish tanks? for the 2 subspecies maybe? I love what you do, wish I was you!!
I’m just about to get a diamond back terrapin. Already have a musk turtle. Great animals that need protecting
one of the most beautiful turtles
Beautiful turtles
OMG... Kenan... Trick of the month... Within reason. That decade you did on one of the beginning video's.... Man it was epic
Thanks Chris And Kennen for all you do for my favorite animals!
Great videos
Ironically my boyfriend is about to graduate college and is working a similar project here in ct on the diamond backs. We've been put looking for turtles on the roads this summer to help collect data on the dangers of turtles on the roads!
Love the videos with Chris! You can see the passion he has for turtles and tortoise just like you Kenan.
#Save
Love my Diamondback Terripen 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢
#Save the turtles 😢😢
Great vid as always Kenan! If possible it'd be neat if you did an in depth care video on diamondback terrapins!

I'm dying to meet Chris one day. He's my idol.
Amazing work for amazing animals
Start riding your bike again Keenan
Awesome critters. Sure miss seeing them. I had a place on the Stono River near Charleston where I could go and almost always see a few. Used to really enjoy taking folks to see too. Wonderful animals.
Love it when I'm first
Nice going!! :)
Nice surprise when it's your video being posted on this channel.
I have a total of 8 turtles and have always loved the looks of Diamondback Terrapins. My understanding is captive breed and captive raised Terrapins are kept in both brackish and fresh water. Can they live in my community enclosure with my sliders and painters?
😀🐢
Hi Kenan! Love the conservation work these guys are doing. I’m also an NJ resident and curious what stretch of shore Chris and the Turtle Conservancy are patrolling here. I’m familiar with the conservation efforts on Long Beach Island but didn’t realize there were terrapin rescues going on elsewhere in the state.
Can these dudes live in TN weather?
it took 2 years of watching the channel to get my video, thank you!
btw the male looks more like centrata...
Is that a Fly River in the background at end of video?
great video except for all the wind
So he collects eggs from the wild for more successful incubation and when they hatch he rereleases them?
Dude... Please.... Can we get a video of you doing bike tricks... I've known about Kenan (you) since the Dave Mirra BMX games on the PlayStation.... I'm a long time fan of you dude but, as with most people I always called you K-een-an. LoL I'm sorry but come on, do some more biking videos. I biked for years and years and years in the 90s and 00s when mongoose was actually a non Walmart bike... Mongoose pro rogue
You really should trim you’re beard
