Goodbye Matpat and thank you for everything.
This video cost me a lot of energy, because this news from Matpat came very suddenly, I would never have expected that one day he would publish his very last theory... It was only thanks to him that I personally discovered FNAF for myself and understood the whole story behind it. Matpat was able to explain things so well and at the same time excitingly. I just hope that he finds the peace and tranquility that he hoped for by quitting his channel. Farewell, Matpat...
Even though this video refers specifically to FNAF, I also mean all the theories that matpat gave us... There were really nice times when you looked at his theories, you thought you knew everything and then Matpat turns your world upside down. There will be more FNAF games coming out and many theorists will come up with theories. Unfortunately, he won't be among them. (I'm so sorry that I'm spreading such a sad mood) T_T

The two are synonymous. Fnaf is never really heard of outside of matpat and his crazy theories and matpat is basically nothing if he never covered fnaf and created some of the most outlandish theories that he proved.

I may not have watched Matpat in years and his Fnaf theories could be outlandish at times but the man was dedicated he deserved to be in the Fnaf movie and it's sad to see him go I wish he and his family well
