That feeling, when Shigure is coming out her k3 chamber and the instrument start to kick in, it's only took me 2s to realize this song is being played. It has always been on my playlist for year, but hearing it on such a moment instantly hit me with nostalgia and remind me how long have I waited for anime season 2. Thanks you for your work. You deserve more recognition.
You have to hand it to the song's author; they managed to have Shigure name each of her sisters in the song (Yudachi, Murasame, and Shiratsuyu), and it's pulling at my heart a little knowing she was the last of the class to be sunk.
Such a shame that her wreck is being vandalized by illegal salvaging. All that history just for a few pieces of scrap metal. Since I live where she is right now, I'm gonna visit her one day.

白露型駆逐艦の白露、時雨、村雨、夕立が歌詞の中に入っているのが素晴らしい。アニメの第7話にもこの4人が登場した時に感動した。
「吹雪」も歌詞の中に特１型の名前が入っていましたね。駆逐艦は気象や季節の名前を使っているから歌詞にしやすいところもあるんだろうか？
