Just found your channel. Excellent review. Thank you for not saying “guys” constantly, or stammering throughout the video, or making fun of the audience. Very concise and well thought out.
Late to the party, but I literally just hit this point in my collecting. I got the knife bug when I was in the Cdn Army years ago. Started with CRKT and Kershaw, moved on to Spyderco, Benchmade, ZT, and finished my career with a Strider in my pocket. Over the last few years I picked up a Chaves, a LionSteel, a Hinderer, a Demko, and a Sebenza 31. I saw no end in sight until a few weeks ago when I picked up a large Inkosi insingo in S45vn with a Lynch NW clip. It has been in my pocket every day since. I finally feel like my search is over and I now own the perfect knife.
I am currently a recovering addict. Got a Hinderer xm-18 3.5 skinny, PJ small inkosi tanto, and PJ small Sebenza 21. May add a CRK large model. Since those three purchases I am selling most everything. Hard part is what stays and goes. Great video!! One of my PM2 Tanto M4's are staying possibly both. :-)~
I once did collect a bunch of Spyderco's , but now I own the same Inkosi with the same clip as showing hear, wonderful knife and fits my pocket vary well, thanks guy for showing.
nice video. I was knife addict for years., about 30 years. 2011. I get my first two sebenza 21 as present, small and large. Then I sold my colection of spyderco, benchmade, buck, cold steel, more than 200 knives and bought another sebenza 21 large, umnumzaan (old pivot) and nyala. last 8 years i didnt buy any knife.
Wow! You went through all of the processes of a collector. Do you still carry anything? Do you still have all of your knives or have you sold most of them? Thanks for watching!!
I was a big collector and when I bought my first Sebenza I totally quit - I sold my 50+ spydercos, my 50+ benchmades and everything else! Now I have a few Hinderer Bowie’s in XM-18 and many variants of the Sebenza, Inkosi and Umnumzaan - I am now only collecting Chris Reeve and the new S45VN’s. Long story short, that first Sebenza made me quit and for 3 years now, a large Inkosi is my EDC - I have 12 Chris Reeve variants in the safe! Just a wonderful perfect knife with the absolute best steel hands down - I take S35 or S45 over any other high edge retention steel because it’s just great at everything! Great video!
Wow David thanks for sharing. This is a great example of the place we all want to get to: simplicity and direction in our collections. Brilliant and congrats on your pieces
I’m with you my brother. I love Chris reeve knives. I have about 4 and another one that should not be underestimated is the quiet carry drift, awesome knife.
I just got my first CRK about a week ago. Decided on the large inkosi insingo with micarta inlays 😁 I absolutely love it! Before, my edc was actually my zt 0452 cf😉 I still have much love for it though. Next on the list is going to be a xm-18 or a 0562cf/ti. Awesome video btw!
Snuggletummy Facts. Chris Reeve knives are truly a diamond in the rough unfortunately. The knife Industry in the USA is a bit dull without this powerhouse and a few others like Hinderer and Spyderco.
I bought a large Inkoski about the same time as you. I already had a small Sebenza 21 which was feeling too small to be the perfect knife. I LOVE the action on the Inkosi. It was easy to open and so smooth that I couldn't help but play with it. And that blade stock is so THICK but with a hollow grind to be sharp. It just feels like the ONE blade you need, you know? It's bomb-proof but so elegant.
@@user-mh7su9hs4z They say the Nyala is the fixed blade Sebenza, but I think it's more like the Inkosi. I have all three, and the Inkosi almost feels like the Nyala with how sturdy it is (but not the grip). Nyala has such a beautiful blade.
My large Inkosi Insingo is ruining all other knives (from a user and tool perspective) for me 🥲 Unfortunately, I’m trying to chase down small batch artisan pieces (Koenig, Oz Machine Co., etc.) now to keep myself from getting into watches.
🤣 God, I hope they haven’t sold the last one! Wait ……. You’re a marketing guy ? Well done ! I didn’t know how much I wanted one. Just the hint of exclusivity, positioning the product next to a “gold watch,” and Apple Ear Buds. And, it also stands alone in worth. The thing is, the knife is all of that and more. Nice 👍
This was music Could of been a song so well said and done. My Southard made me quit buying spydies. My CRK made me quit buying spydies for good i think.....
The problem with Chris Reeve making perfect knives is there are so many to choose from, and you kind of want to try them all to find the one perfect FOR YOU.

I wish we were able to make more quality products like this in America.

BlackWomanGamer the bracelet is from strapcode! Seiko 5 SRPE74K1 Thanks again for watching, my friend!
