I had to pause the video for a while to tell you that this is one of the best things vlogging videos I have seen... From the video quality to the music and the breath taking views. I have to go to this place now.. because of u guys . Keep up the amazing work!!!!
Just a tip for going to switzerland, if you plan on eating with a budget, i recommend going to the supermarkets like COOP or MIGROS and get the already prepared food there and microwave! The food is amazing for something a supermarket sells. it ranges from 2-9 franks!
Yes I agree with you, Everything is Beautiful in Switzerland, been there once and I was going WOW everyday all the time, and yes Rösti is fabulous food and as a Chocolate Lover, Switzerland is of course a Heaven.
The Switzerland tourism board should just hire you for this video to use in their ads to invite all world travelers to visit. That and let Imax cameras tag along so you can narrate all the scenary there is so it will give us the justice you think we deserve to see at the 11:33 mark.
I love when the universe manifests an answer to a question I have... So in December 2018 I am going from my home in California to Davos, Switzerland for Christmas holiday with my 2 grown children. I've been going to Switzerland since I was a kid. My question: How much should I budget for food? And then here is Currently Hannah with a specific new video answering my questions! Love it, love Hannah, love Switzerland!
The costs depends completly on yourself. Are you someone who would like to visit restaurants, are you drinking vine to your meals, are you into meat, cooking yourself and so on and on and on.
I'm planning $250 USD a day for 3 adults for meals when we are in Davos, including the various trips to Migros when we don't want a restaurant. Have recommendations for great restaurant experiences in Zurich?
Some things as DON'T and DOs: Pls, DON'T visit Starbucks. DON'T! You are in europe, we know how to serve a good coffee. You will waste a lot of money to a medium quality coffee, meanwhile you have so much better coffee around. If you want to try Mc Donald's, do so. Yes, our Mc Donald's are far better in taste than the american Mc Donald's, but it has his price. But first of all, you are in europe/switzerland. Don't only visit the country, take a taste with you. We have one of the best breads of the world in the middle of europe. Buy some ham, some cheese, whatever you like with your bread. Mc Donald's or any american food should be only your emergency plan. Don't be surprise about our food. Our coffee is stronger than an average american coffee, our beer has more taste and alcohol, our moustache may be a shock and all those other things. That doens't mean our food is better (in my opinion it is, but that's in reason I was raised here), it's just "other". We don't use gen food, we're into health food. That has his price, but hopefully you will see the effort to it :) If you have any further question, perhaps send it to my channel. I don't know what's wrong with youtube, but for some reasons new comments aren't showed in my letterbox :( But I will try to visit that video for a while, so perhaps we will see us here :)
Hi Hannah, I just wanted to say where you have gone in Switzerland is my most favourite place in the world. Im also Aussie (an xpat living in the UK) and I have travelled all around the world but this place in Switzerland has my heart. photos and video do not do that place justice at all. I’ve been lucky to go back four times and will continue to do so forever, it is a very special and beautiful place! You captured it really good considering it’s difficult to show how beautiful it is on film ❤️
I hope you don't get (too many) negative comments about how you're not eating vegan only while you travel. It's the same for me and I think it's a great combination of living healthy and fun. I just know that people have given me a hard time and lots of negative feedback when I talked about it publicly, so nowadays I try to avoid mentioning or answering questions about my ways of eating to strangers at all.
Surprisingly I haven't had any negativity towards not being vegan while travelling! I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced some. I think it's good to balance your living and just do what you think is best. If Yosshi were vegan too, perhaps we would've stuck to it a little better but I think that just being vego for a bit is a nice compromise.
@@CurrentlyHannah thanks for answering! The negativity is mostly on the internet though, people who know me personally have always been respectful and understanding. Ultimately, I think it's best that everyone does what they think is the best for them and not judge others for their life choices, because you don't know them or their lives. I try to just always keep it friendly :) So do what you feel like Hannah, it's so cool to see you enjoy your vacation :)
In order to get the similar nature tastes of Switzerland, you can visit Bolu, Duzce, Sakarya, Sapanca, Kocaeli, Samsun, Ordu, Rize cities of Turkey and always overnight at 4 star and 5 star hotels and visit every interesting place in those cities with taxis. On the Trachian side of Turkey please visit Cerkezkoy, Kirklareli, Corlu, Edirne, Tekirdag and Luleburgaz 4 and 5 star hotels instead of cosmopolitan Istanbul. You will love those journeys.
Love your eye and your ear hannah. The way you look at things and the music you add to your vids is very nice. Maybe it's just a gold coast aussie thing . The view of those mountains is just breathtaking. Keep em coming mate.😎
Wonderful video, Hannah! It was a treat to watch, as always. Gosh, those views were stunning, reminds me of Austria. So happy to see you getting to share this wonderful time with Yosshi. I always considered going to Switzerland, will have to write down the places you went to as places to go. Wishing you a nice day!
I stayed in interlaken and I liked the hotel’s breakfast and meals provided by the tour. I like the braided breakfast that Swiss make on weekends and muesli. I got Swiss cheese for breakfast. I went to a chocolate making class and got to sample a mix of chocolates and making chocolate at the funky chocolate.
ahh I love this video! Your emotions and reactions are so real and awesome, the excitement about the calves and fluffy kitty and even fresh air made me giggle XD
So I’m a Swiss girl and it’s actually really entertaining to watch other people trying Swiss things also it’s really funny how everyone’s so excited then there’s me😂
I grew up in Interlaken and now live in another part of Switzerland.. this video really made me miss my home 💚 thank you so much it was wonderful to watch.
I’m so glad you like it in my home country! Hope you made a lot of memories there! And yes all our fountains have drinkable water, unless it specifically says that it’s not.
Amazing place! I have to go sometime, (I need to head to the South Island of NZ too) sometimes it looks like the mountains go up infinitely into the clouds or something. I keep staring at the dirt on your sensor in the recent videos tho... eg at 10:30 when the camera stops down to combat the bright sun, you can clearly see a black "smudge" between the sun and the mountains (a little to the left). That "black hole" point is visible a lot throughout this video. Two things to do to combat that: 1) Clean the sensor (recommend a service center if it is not too expensive, that way it's on them to fix if they make a mistake) 2) Use ND filters so the camera doesn't go into F10-F22 etc making dirt on sensors become so easily visible
I travelled to Switzerland as part of my Topdeck tour this year. Switzerland had never been on my bucket list of countries to travel to so I was surprised with how much I loved travelling there! It is such a beautiful country
The mystery tour is such a great idea. I really want to try it some time. Switzerland is gorgeous. I've never been to Interlaken but I have been to Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Lucerne and Bern. Those towns and cities also had drinkable water fountains too. Switzerland is quite expensive in my opinion especially with the weak Aussie dollar. But it's totally worth it. All that cheese! Amazing! To be a food vlogger, you need to use adjectives like, bold, sharp, delicate, earthy, notes of... etc. 😂 Golden Hour and sunset from that mountain top was stunning!
A mystery tour sure is a great way to travel! If you'd like to go on your very own mystery tour we'd be happy to send you to somewhere where the Aussie dollar is stronger, but with just the same amount of good food and great views!
@@nickandhelmi no matter which country you're from we will send you on a mystery vacation! When it comes to destination country the entire world is up for grabs! Ofcourse we won't send you to any places that you tell us you don't want to visit.
The Swiss Railway Trains is where they get you... expect to spend at least 100 CHF on a day saver pass, almost damn near broke my bank T_T good thing the the scenic views and hikes is where its all worth it :)
went there in May of 2018..Absolutely astonishing place.. like a postcard everywhere you look. Only issue was the huge number of tourists at that time of the year. But if you just go a bit deeper into town away from the main town street then it's just you and nature all around... Like you said, the camera doesn't do justice to the beauty of the place and it's a must see for everyone.
It's a breathtaking place. I did my first ever paragliding from just above the lookout you went to. If you have the chance, you must do it. It's brilliant. Thanks for bringing back some great memories!
Hannah, love this video. Could you tell us the name of the dairy/cow farm you went to around the 7:30 mark? Do you remember if it was open for general public to visit? We are gonna be visiting on our own - not as part of a tour group. Thanks and Cheers.

You're eating avocados in Switzerland, you obviously have a high budget.

Just curious how much meat and dairy do you guys eat there on average?
I told a Korean couple their country is beautiful and they just laughed at me
