I know this isn’t the most popular video on rebornica by all means- but no one talks about this. Rebornica has harasses and bullied to my knowledge at least three other people and threatened suicide on multiple occasions. They abused an ex and bullied her over being a witch for months before deleting and starting a new Twitter like in the first drama. Rebornica started to try and get a vocaloid into drama for no reason, other than wanting to accuse some one of art theft, around the same time made fun of a sexual assault victim for a while before deleting Twitter and coming back. And also went after smaller creators using her designs. That’s just a summary of the situations but there’s numerous tumblr blogs documenting and showing evidence of all this. I feel as this is important to know all of this, especially since recently fnaf is getting a bit of notice recently and there’s probably going to be some nostalgic rebornica fans out there. There’s no sign of her on the internet anymore and the last thing she did was fake her suicide and plan to go back to twitter after the drama cooled. It’s important to not give rebornica any positive attention. The last handles she went by was mx_bones and nefurious_skull.

GOD almost ALL of rebornicas fans make excuses for her bullshit theirs absolutely nothing wrong with loving her work u can do so freely if u want but theirs ZERO fucking excuse for sticking up for an asshole like her for harassing and threatening fans who love her work and want to show their love for it in a multitude of ways ESPECIALLY when SHE HERSELF CHARGES 500$ JUST TO SELL HER OWN CHARACTERS AND ARTSTYLE!!!!!! NO FUCKING EXCUSE AT ALL!!!
I wasn't aware of most of this, so I won't dispute it. But I feel like there's kind of a lot of context missing here. She did attempt suicide multiple times, and would get asks saying "Kill yourself" multiple times a day and also was in abusive relationship and was also had schizophrenia and physically abusive parents, and was regularly sent content specifically to trigger her into panic attacks and PTSD. For a long time, she identified as nonbinary, and was misgendered daily by TERFs, and eventually was outed on public social media which let to like, a few close calls where he safety was in jeopardy IRL.
This isn't really a defense of her, I haven't followed her in years. But honestly, we're talking about an extremely dark set of circumstances and situations that let to a deeply troubled young woman.
Before we talk about "she was a bad person" we all need to remember that we as an online community made her that way through consistent violence, and we continue to do so to other small artists that these random drama videos point out.
This requires a huge change in entire internet culture, not just criticizing a few of the more famous ones who became problematic after years of cyberbullying and mental health issues.
I was a mod for the pilot-confessions blog, based on their webcomic a few years back, and one day I made the mistake of posting a confession they just happened to disagree with. It was so stupid I don't even remember what it was, and they proceeded to send their fans after my ass and both the confession blog's and my personal blog's inboxes were *flooded* with messages on how I'm the reason they're depressed, how I should drink bleach and kill myself for what I posted, etc etc, and no one saw a single thing wrong with it. That is the day I realized that Rebornica is genuinely a terrible person, and all the bad rep they get is pretty well deserved.

Rebornica was honestly the reason I never added a Purple Guy character to my old AU. She always had a toxic attitude and it got to the point where even other people who had AUs couldn’t stand her or Vincent. The situation with the artist continuing the AU makes me upset especially; if someone continued my AU, I would be flattered that someone liked my work enough to draw it.
Honestly, I don’t blame you. When you think of Pre-FNAF 5 Purple Guy, Vincent will always come to mind. She made the definitive versions of these characters (for many of us) for many years, it’s painful to see her throw it all away on crap like this
@@enclavehere.7995 yeah, like I feel like the reason some people still use Vincent or the AU in general is because it’s so recognizable and some use it because nostalgia. I don’t mind people enjoying the AU or even Vincent in itself, even though I’m not a fan of either and I’ll take William any day. It’s when people blindly defend Rebornica’s actions and try to justify them hurting people over an AU they disowned and mentioned MULTIPLE times that they didn’t care about anymore that I take great issue with. I won’t doubt that Rebornica does have talent, it’s just that they have a nasty attitude and are very spiteful.
Rebornica was my HERO as a little schizo-effective kid who loved horror and cartoons and anything with a good amount of lore for me to hyperfixate on. They inspired me to draw cartoons (which became my passion in life as I'm an aspiring animator, now) and really set both a bar for me to jump over and a net to fall back on if I got sad. The characters were a comfort to me and I adored the creator so much that my hand shook when I clicked this video.
I'm unbearably sad that they were doing all that shit, baffled that I had 0 idea any of that was going on.
Thank you for covering it un-biased, though, I really needed to hear it. It hurts to feel this betrayed, but I'm honestly just very glad i didn't have to go digging for all this information myself.

the au was my first like big hyperfixation (and unfortunately still is) and I got really into pilot as well before I just kinda stopped checking on their stuff, I had no idea most of this happened until recently. great content, terrible creator
I do still like the AU that they made, but I'm very disgusted by their actions. I know it's bad to possibly support something like that but I always try to do the 'separate the artist from the art' sort of thing if it helps. God, I wish they didn't end up like this way, it's always saddening to see a favorite artist that created a part of your younger years become such a horrible person and hurt several people.
And yeah, I used to really like Phone Guy and Mike. I wasn't very interested Vincent though, he was interesting at first but then it just turned weird.

To be fair there is no way Rebornica makes money or clout from their works anymore and almost all sources are taken down and archives are not connected to Reb themselves. You are free to consume without worrying about supporting them but remember to consume critically as there are some problematic themes in their AU

I used to love these characters, so much. But the fact she did this is NOT okay, shes setting a bad example for her fans, especially the younger ones. I can't believe someone would do this. Forcing someone to deactivate, telling someone with suicidal problems to KILL themselves? im sorry, but any fans reading this should know it is not okay to do that. She never said sorry, and if she did its only because she got caught, she only deleted everything so she wouldn't get hate. I used to love Rebornica, but i cant anymore with her. Thank you for making a video about this. Im d i s g u s t e d with her. Her fans should NOT be taught this kind of behavior, i used to fangirl over Vincent, yes i was crazy back then, and now to hear that he's been s o l d and replaced? not ok. keep the character, and if someone steals them dont charge them money. About the whole Deviantart fiasco, I remember that I had followed an artist an year ago who made their own fnaf version based on rebornica's au. Ppl gave them positive feedback on their version but they would also leave them warnings on the comment section such as "I hope rebornica doesn't see it, they'll destroy it" or "be careful with rebornica" and "how toxic they are".
It was really saddening to learn what kind of person we were admiring this whole time.
I know who you're talking about. They were a friend of mine that Rebornica chased off the Internet for false things & had their fans attack them. I was there since the beginning of that situation even in their personal discord server. It was to the point they gave me a family relationship status. They left & I never saw or heard of them again. I lost a close friend that day.

I know the artist that was chased off the internet. I was a close friend of hers. She made her own AU with the characters out of inspiration & modified them a tiny bit to their liking. Changed a bit of the uniforms, some interests, etc. Made her own story along the way with her side comics.
Bones {Rebornica's current alias} revamped her iconic AU possibly in july-august since I still have some art in my gallery. Andros is Mike's dad, Mike's 'Doll' is given actual character, etc.
But months later they was exposed for horrid things.
Faking their death, having people cover it up, etc. They left & till this day never came back.
I really enjoy the AU & will say I was inspired by it for my current art style & work. It made me a FNAF fan to begin with.
But jfc. I like the art not the artist.
I was looking for a video of someone giving an explanation? This is by far the most descriptive video explaining what she has and did. No other video existed as it was just dubs, her being the victim and etc. with other videos flat out insulting her identity and appearance and not actions

a lot of the problem with recording what happened with them is the sheer amount of people who were involved, blogs involved, and years that have passed. its genuinely one of those things that if you were not there for, you cannot grasp just how big of a thing this was.

God Lord, this is so surreal for me! I used to love Rebornica’s FNAF AUs. They gave me such enjoyment and entertainment at a time in my life when I wasn’t at my highest. Seeing Purple Guy, and deranged killer, also be obsessed with toast? It was because of her I loved Purple Guy as much as I did. Rebornica made what would be (for must of us) our definitive versions of the FNAF Characters (mainly Purple Guy) for years until Sister Location. To learn about this awful stuff. . . It’s disgusting to me, and honestly heart wrenching. I wanna still love her artwork but. . . It’s hard to now with the knowledge I have. Guess I’d just have to try hard to separate art from artist and hold back a tear or two.

i'm surprised no one brought up the fact doll's design is literally just a recycled version of Chris the janitor?? like i honestly feel this au was just a way to covering up the controversy they had before with the original au people called out not because they actually cared about it. besides the rebooted au low key is just a fnaf version of "mad father". the art style is not bad and pretty cute but seems like it fits with the plot of the au like, something feels off about the rebooted style. the original had a nice edge to it and fit the tone of the story while, the rebooted version feels more doughy and cutesy. which is not a bad thing but doesn't work for the au. and the characters just felt like washed up versions of themselves to be honest. it just felt unrecognizable to me which was honestly kinda sad nostalgia wise. i guess i was oping for it to at least be a continuation instead of the original plot just being entirely scrapped under the carpet to be abandoned like it never happened or was a burden. so long story short: it was a disappointment. i actually enjoyed the original au growing up and still have a soft spot for it now and draw it from time to time. but, i can easily say rebornica's original fnaf au was fun, silly, and interesting au, with a unique art style. but rebornica as a person is a lying manipalitve bully of a person and i don't think i'd be checking in or supporting their future works anytime soon.
I have talked to rebornica in the past, from my experience anyway they seemed pretty nice, but I guess they were just upset somebody took there au style without permission

I posted a "vincent vs william afton" meme on my instagram basically talking about how I missed the nostalgia that purple guy being vincent gave me since I was like 10 and obsessed with fnaf when vincent was made. Then my friend commented some bonkers stuff about "oh the original creator threatened suicide and and abused ppl" or something like that which led me down a rabbit hole (and tumblr didn't really help. I still don't know what a night terrors is and what's up with that whole vincent situation) so now I'm here. Am I going to continue drawing him for nostalgia reasons? Yep. But does this whole situation really suck and is too confusing for my teeny tiny pea brain? Yep.
Night terrors was an video game au within their OC universe where it was just Vincent purple guy reskinned as a good guy who helped kids fight off their nightmares and phobias, with the catchphrase "You can!" (Opposite to fnaf vincent), he was gay, a humanoid snake who's voice canon was Markiplier. He went by Vince instead of Vincent, and his full name was Vince Heliotrope. I was kind of obsessed with this au as a kid and I preferred this iteration of Vincent, I had a major crush on him... doesn't excuse the fact that he was a copy paste of the fnaf AU Purple guy. I honestly stuck with Rebornica because I just enjoyed Night terror and their art for it... I hope this explains what "Night Terror" is in gist.

@@maniCARNY Here, I found a video (Not uploaded by rebornica but, the artwork is from them.) Saying that they have schizophrenia and that their hallucination IS in fact their AU of Vincent.
Their "hallucination" is Vince, which is basically a recycled version of Vincent but instead, he has wings and he's a character in one of their own stories, Night Terror. I didn't know that they sold him though.. because if that's the case, they won't (or at least shouldn't) be able to use that character in their own story

Rebornica may be a bully, but I've got to hand it to her, she is a great artist. Being in art class, I learned to separate the art from the artist.
More people need to remember this to separate art from the artist. I still think this au was great but I still hate reborinca

Didn't even know Rebornica existed until I looked up who drew Vincent.
I loved the AU because Mike Schmidt was his own character.
Don’t get me wrong I still think Michael Afton is cool-
(took me a lot longer to like him though because Rebornica’s Mike is still one of my favorite FNAF Fandom characters)
-but Mike was being given a face, a personality and a great backstory.
And I really liked the idea of mike being helped and occasionally possessed by one of the Ghost Children.
He was tied into what happened at Fazbear’s far more then he realized.
I was really into Rebornica’s take on Mike being your regular Billy Badass.
I only just today found out the name of the artist (Rebornica) and now I’m finding out that she was a glorified bully in the fan base?…man what a kick in the teeth.
It was her that got me into the Fandom when originally I just liked the games.

I definitely agree, Rebornica did certainly bring some uniqueness into FNAF AUs (and really FNAF in general) at the time, and although I didn't really get to see it all at the time, it sounded like it had a massive influence to the community
and yeah.. because of that it probably makes information like this a lot harder to swallow, though I appreciate the open-mindedness people have expressed
FNAF was one of the first fandoms I have entered. I'd search art of it, and the first ones that came up on google was Rebornica's art. I discovered Tumblr because of them, I remember I dug into their fnaf tag and stayed there for HOURS and for days straight because their artstyle was amazing and the content was fun. Rebornica was one of the FIRST artists to really inspire me: inspired me to draw and match up to their talent, inspired me to create my own original characters, and inspired me to write my own stories. Their webcomic Pilot inspired my webcomic story idea (I wonder if Pilot is still ongoing). Hell, even at one point, because I thought the main character Pilot was so cool and lovable, I once dreamt of becoming a pilot (just childish thinking). There is a phase is my artistic journey where I just drew nothing but their characters, ocs and fnaf. My artstyle took a turning point when I saw their art, heck even up to this day, I still see their artstyle in my own.
I did see snip bits of people calling them out and Rebornica responding to it while I was going through Rebornica's tumblr, but I was a kid so I didn't pay attention to it much. I didn't think it was THIS big of an issue, christ. It's so bizarre to learn that the person who literally inspired me and boosted my love for art and for being an artist, is a kind of person who can do this to other people. I grew out of my Rebornica phase not too long after I left the fandom, but now revisiting what the issue was that I ignored back then, it's really, really sad.
I guess that shows that we really don't know who people in the internet are, and we really don't know what the true colors of the people we idolize.
This is just strange and sad to hear, I don't know what to feel.

Man I remember I had an obsession with her Au ,it was very inspiring, she was an inspiration,the only thing I remembered was that she wanted people to stop drawing in her style and if she saw anybody using her style she would report, and thankfully I had disappeared from the FNAF fandom when I had my old DeviantArt, my old DeviantArt account had a lot of fanart, that's all I remembered cause I had vanished from the FNAF fandom for a good amount of years.This is sad to know to know she would do this. 😢

Rebornica was f*cked over by some creepy dudes and bullies that started emerging from the fandom. She got creepy letters and a lot of hate at times. It would only grow more toxic with each game. Hell, the creepy messages didn’t even stop with rebornica! One dude who did an impression of “Vincint” got creepy letters as well. Of course, there were the deviantart wars. She became the first recognized toxic fan of fnaf.
Then, cut to 2020. Fnaf fandoms are as toxic as ever, people like sonic99rae exist, some new communities become toxically attached to the fandom. Gacha, sonic, mlp, etc. Really the only thing that I keep up with in the fandom that’s mostly positive is the theory fandom community.
I love the lore of the games. That’s my reason I’m even here.

Actually this is a thing, it’s not so much that the person would be selling a character but more like sell the rights to the characters copyright and it’s design but in this case I don’t know if it even counts as rebornicas character or not

Rebornica was definitely one of the wrong kinds of people to be given such status in a large fandom. I used to be quite the fanatic back in the day, almost worshipping her blindly due to my love for her FNAF au and art style. my art actually developed because I got inspired by her drawings. But as the years went on I began to notice a pattern with her. A lot of the time she would get into drama with other people over mundane things, even to the point of encouraging her fans to attack those she fought with. And much afterward, she would often joke about it or play victim only to get endless praises. In general though, I do distinctly remember her being generally passive aggressive even when people would just ask questions. As a devoted fan, I tried brushing these things off whenever it showed up on my feed, even if it was distressing to see. And i think that's often what happens in these scenarios. Especially if the fans are minors and impressionable. Its harder to find fault in a person you look up to rather than just some regular stranger. And with her being aggressive, I have distinct memory of asking her a question involving the oc's gender identities (she was relatively open about all of their ocs identities on her blog on tumblr) only to get a very sarcastic and passive aggressive reply. And that's especially heartbreaking when you look up to this person only for them to act rude to you. I understood that she struggled with a lot of things including abuse and schizophrenia, so I will give a little leeway for her behavior. but explanation does not excuse the pain she caused with her aggressive reactions.
I remember back when she had the FNAF au. I think a culmination of stress and not wanting to maintain the AU ultimately led her to getting rid of it, but I remember she intitially gave the AU to one of her friends to take care of. (I believe the person's name was Cas? It's been a long time so it could be wrong). And after a while I believe Cas eventually gave the au back to the fandom, not wanting to deal with it either. Which is what confused me the most when I saw Rebornica bringing it back in 2019. Not sure if there was some communication thing I missed, but I do distinctly remember her giving the responsibility of the AU to a friend and that friend saying that it belonged to the fandom. It doesn't make sense that she suddenly just took it back just like that and got mad over other artists keeping the AU alive, but idk. Most of my memories with these events are fuzzy.
I wasn't really aware of it until around maybe late 2018 or something that she actually had stolen and altered ex-friend's characters. The most prominent being an OC named Hacker, who belonged to someone named Fooexe i believe. They shipped Hacker and Artman together, and when things went south Rebornica made a character named Hacker (an obvious ripoff) who she made to be Artman's abuser. And it wasn't a singular isolated incident. There's multiple cases of this happening and its fucking sad. And i think i've even seen evidence that she drew inc/st stuff at some point, but I have lost the document that had the evidence (the owner had deleted it). But i'm aware it exists.
And to hear that she ended up faking her suicide at some point to avoid drama is relatively upsetting to say the least. And from my knowledge, she's a grown woman. So she is STILL resorting to very scummy tactics to avoid conflict. I'm surprised not enough people talk about this person. She has quite the history of drama but she still happens to get good support whenever she decides to pop back in when she thinks the drama has cooled down enough. Idk where she is now, but I hope she continues to stay irrelevent so she can't hurt people anymore.
It's crazy, growing up and finding out content creators and artists that inspired you as a teenager wound up being shitty people. Hell, my username, "The Infinexos" was inspired by the space deity-sounding 'Rebornica' name in the first place. Shit I was in the FNaF fandom even before Markiplier made it popular, when everyone thought of Rebornica's AU as canon and called the purple guy Vincent instead of William. I was so damn early that I was the first person in the fandom to write a Creepypasta crossover fanfic on Wattpad, before I deleted it out of embarrassment a few years later-
Anyway, point being. Reb's comics shaped the fandom just as much as The Living Tombstone did, so seeing them disappear and be known as an asshole is quite saddening. Never meet your heroes...

I was at a con this past weekend with my friend, we saw somebody cosplaying as Vincent and once they passed by, my friend told me that one of their friends went through some serious trauma from her.. She didn’t tell me much since we were at the con, but it wasn’t good.

I was never apart of any groups within the fandom, so I had no idea any of this was going on. It was only recently brought back to me when I noticed someone post Rebornicas Jeremy Fitzgerald art as an OC on the Detroit Become Human Amino.
They told me to look it up on what happened to them and now, here I am.

Hm , I think it's really interesting ! I was a fnaf fan and still kinda am since I simply love the idea of the game. I remember being in love with what Rebornica did with the story etc etc. But I do think that if someone copies an artstyle it isn't appreciated . Yet I don't know to what extend this went so I don't wanna make an opinion onto that specifically.

I was never really into the fanart/au stuff. I had always played the games on my own and stayed away from this stuff. i had left the fandom in mid 2017 and had recently gotten back into it during quarantine. I had found the fanart again and thought “wow this is really good, blah blah blah” but then I stumbled across this and all of the shitty things they did and I was really disappointed. I was just starting to get back into something that made my childhood so great just for it to be almost ruined by a horrible person. although I won’t let what they did ruin me coming back into the fandom as they have disappeared again. I won’t support what they’ve done

One of bones' mods, psychotobe, tried to make one of the other "officers" a mod on the server. When I said no, he threw a hissy fit. Bones tried to put themselves in all parts of the fandom, trying to act like they owned whatever the fans made :/

It's true that it still goes on to this very day and it is DISGUSTING! As an artist (and a big fan of fnaf) I enjoy respectfully drawing him as the character that he truly is- A MURDERER! I actually had never heard of Rebornica until today. I remember when I first found the that games/fandom in like 2015 but I was like 7 and I was a cringey Foxy fan girl and knew practically nothing about fnaf. I left after about a year (bc I had never thought about the internet to go and join the fandom) so I never knew about any of the drama that went on. I only got back into it in 2020 and realized how much I missed and I regret that I didn't think to do one simple thing.

I’ve left a couple replies so I should probably make my own comment lol. im in the same boat as everyone else who watched this video: absolutely adored the au and characters to death (got my first comfort character and I guess “”kin”” idk I’m not comfortable calling him that but it’s the closest word for it) and fell in love with pilot too but this is all crazy. I remember there being some controversies with her, but where I only saw her side of it, I never got too into it. they had those couple of doodles in about may 2017 that made me melt but after that, I dropped them (long story, went through like a fandom cleanse bc paranoia) quarantine has made this hyperfixation rear it’s ugly head again and I’m desperately trying to get my friends back into it as well lol. I say we still keep enjoying the comics and pilot but we need to drop her ASAP, she needs no more positive reinforcement
I remembered I followed their Tumblr back in 2017 where they were in the FNAF fandom and their own Webcomic that never got finished. They also had a series for their own original characters besides FNAF.
Then they left tumblr for twitter and i followed their platform.
After they randomly disappeared from my timeline on Twitter one day, i found out that they were harassing an artist and was an overall a bad person after a few people exposed their conversation with someone on Discord committing the act and never coming back. They were also exposed for lying too.
Man I didnt know about the rest of their past history but wow. It was shocking.

What I don't understand if she no longer cared about her AU or characters then why would she attack someone for continuing it in their own way? Like the artist from what I heard looked up to Rebornica. I mean if she did not want someone else using her AU couldn't she simply ask that user nicely to not use it instead of attacking her and getting her followers involved? I didn't know about the drama until a few months ago, but I followed rebornica up until they were using their nefarious_skull handle. I liked their art and saw nothing about the drama, and I think I just unfollowed back in January or February of last year cause I lost interest. Hearing about how scummy they turned out to be is kind of shocking, especially considering how it somehow seemed to fly under the radar for the most part. This should've made a bigger splash in the art community in my opinion, but it seems that rather than own up to their actions, they've just decided to run and hide instead.
to think that every other 1-3 months this artist keeps coming back in the back of my head like nothing,, because learning more how my childhood artist that I've loved turned out to be a much horrible person they've become the more years passed by,,
i know this is like super late but i dug more about what happened to them and this is more of a close to the deepest part of what they ever done.
not only did they threaten, abused ppl, send hate, changed names, faked suicide, cause drama whatsoever but in the later years from that they've became so much worse just by reading evidence abt them. take this as a grain of salt, from what I've read based on evidences they've groomed a 14 year old, says racist slurs, draws and fetishized about problematic content in fiction (?), faked being in a coma back in their Minecraft fandom, painted her father as abusive but from all I've seen he was a really sweet man, im not entirely sure of this one but they've also faked a mental illness (DID) and a lot of things i still don't know about ...
ngl it was honestly heartbreaking and negatively impacted on me as an artist that this is what they've become as a person,, as much as they've went through much more horrible things they are still held accountable for what they've done. and as someone as me who looked up to them from 2014 until 2018 some part of me still feels denial and wanted comfort from their old stuff but i know things are different.
so yeah, it was good riddance for them, ppl change for the better but this just seemed unredeemable atp. i stopped supporting them since 2018 and that's the last of it.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying the Au while accepting it's nowhere as close to canon as we once hoped it would be. I LOVED this AU with all of my heart back in the early days and I still do; but I feel as though you have to separate the art from the artist. This rule only applies for visual artists though, because they get no monetary gain from us looking at their art. If it's something like musicians (Marilyn Manson, for example) then you can't. Because he gets money from us listening to his songs.
