I tried to post about the scripting issue for years and have been banned from the r/leagueoflegends for providing google sheets docs with proof of scripting and how bad it is. Even Riot's ticketting reports don't do anything (I've tracked scripters who don't get banned after obviously scripting in my games). Even the actual company wants to bury it. It's caused me to quit the game and now I'm watching the issue get worse and more public. I hope they fucking fix it. I did see that they are working on ai cheat detection, so maybe there's hope. It's completely ruined my experience.

Because the source code for the game was leaked. It's not something that Riot can just side-step. They are working with a company on Ai Anti-cheat, which is the best way forward, but that won't go into prod for another year, probably. Riot SHOULD admit their mistakes with network security and lead the charge against cheating; right now, they just look like they want to sweep it under the rug. The problem isn't the obvious scripters like this guy. The problem is the toggler's who are actually d1+ skill level. If someone is good at the game and toggles scripts on/off, there is absolutely 0 way to ever catch them or know it's happening.
Scripts are pretty easy to catch even on a challanger player imo. even faker wouldn't be able to perfectly dodge 3-4 skillshots under 0.2 seconds, he might do it once or twice or even 3 times but he will get hit eventually. Another easy way to findout scripting is decision making, sometimes a script will make you dodge a skillshot that ends up fucking your position and killing you instead (walking forward to turret range to dodge a skillshot for example).
except that there is. you can prove it with maths. since inputs are made by a script you just have to look at the way inputs are sent. theres a measureable difference between a human's inputs and a script's. secondly, high elo game volume is low. like very low. if someone gets reported for scripting, anyone with eyes can detect them. since riot doesnt want to put actual humans to do it, they dont get caught.

Riot has no interest in racism, death threats and insults of any kind. Such behavior is punished minimally, if at all, while AFK and trolls are punished with a ban of up to 14 days for the first offense.

Online security is a constant battle of evolution, people create ways to get around currently existing systems constantly so the devs have to constantly update their detection system, and guess what, they have almost 0 information to go off of besides the actions the players are doing in the game. They have to reverse engineer a solution rather than looking at what they're using and making adjustments based on how the scripts work, they just have to assume and can make wrong assumptions and have just as much flak because of that than if they wait until they fully understand what's going on.

Solution: They need to develop better anti-cheat and detect injection methods external/internal for these scripts or look for certain patterns that these scripts do/ function e.g. how the cheats hook into the game or when a certain function is inhuman. Not hard to implement.. its all about money at the end of the day, and Riot Games refuses to invest in it. Lots of ways to detect these scripts as they are dog shit code.

They have millions of dollars on the line why would they ban people without concrete proof like anticheat activating, it just makes more sense to let a couple of players take an L once to figure out exactly how to adjust their anticheat than to instantly ban the accounts when they see them, there's a lot more to coding than you understand and you saying a "literal toddler" could solve this issue shows exactly how much you understand the code going into the game. @@yggreuyri5822
It doesn't work, you don't understand how coding works if you say that they have anticheat to stop malicious code from running in the game, how do you think they know what is and isn't malicious code, they have to detect it. If things aren't being detected they need to update their system aka cheats get better over time and anticheat get better overtime, it's a cycle. So what am I wrong about here? @@enzoys

the thing about scripts/hacks whatever you wanna name them is not possible to completly patch them or whatever is always a matter of time till someone creates a better hack or script than the previous one and this works for every game know till today so there is no point of blaming riot (Even tho they have some guilt on this part to be fair) but yeah

Solution: They need to develop better anti-cheat and detect injection methods external/internal for these scripts or look for certain patterns that these scripts do/ function e.g. how the cheats hook into the game or when a certain function is inhuman. Not hard to implement.. its all about money at the end of the day, and Riot Games refuses to invest in it. Lots of ways to detect these scripts as they are dog shit code.

There's a lot of things that go into making anticheat, riot already has these players and are monitoring their games to see how they should update their anticheat to be able to detect these people, you can't just ban someone as soon as you see them on an account scripting, they can just make a new account and do the exact same thing for basically free. @@abelboronkai448

Scripters aren’t banned immediately on purpose. Do you realise how bad that would be if they were? Cheat developers would be able to know exactly what Riot’s anti-cheat engine detects.
Even if Riot knows an account is scripting, they have to wait a random, lengthy amount of time until they finally ban the account.

Why? because Riot China is selling scripting tools and earns MILLIONS of dollars off of it. Servers of these scripting tools are based in Turkey with Riot Turkey's overwatch. It's called blackmarket. Just like how they intentionally ruin the client so they don't bring essence emporium(a redditor exposed them bad for that). Why do you think a champion liks zeri was released? Zeri can literally 1v5 with scripts. They had to milk those who won't buy skins. Because they changed it too visual scripts instead of internal so now there’s no actual way to prove that it’s scripts because before they could detect inhuman amounts of commands now the scripts work of what you see visually undetectable
