What is the likelihood of WWE 2K 25 having TNA wrestlers
Why does the computer in the new update keep kicking out of 5 6 8 finishers when they are red ?? How u do u stop from kicking out ?
Sounds like 2K is taking advantage of whats essentially a gambling addiction.

Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, they've been pushing hard for myfaction since its inception. They make absurd amounts of money off mtx in NBA 2K and are trying to do the same with WWE.
For people who play universe primarily, the attention MyFaction gets is a kick in the teeth.

I get that it’s because of the monetisation but that doesn’t stop it being very frustrating!
Unfortunately that is the standard for sports gaming. As a Madden player Ultimate Team gets all the attention and franchise mode remains bare bones.
Same way EA doesn’t care about franchise mode in Madden is exactly how 2k treats Universe. If it doesn’t make money then they don’t give 2 shits about it

Just looked at 2k14's universe mode, and it's pretty much the same as 2k24, 24 just has the option to pick cutscense, 4th slot for rivalry, and 7 title slots. Crazy nothing really changed over 10 years, and the stuff they did add was removed like promos and show intro

Looking at the Gambling Chance vs Auto Upgrades to your roster its pretty clear AEW has a clearer path to unlocking stuff but it also wasn't a solid or complete game unfortunately

You should consider talking about "Create a move" that we haven't seen in years, but I remember over a year ago hearing that the developers said they could bring that back in with improvements since it were last introduced if the rest of the developers wanted it
As long as Universe mode exists, i will continue to buy the games. The day it is taken out, is the day i stop buying.

That's what I've been saying! They've shown us that they can patch in unannounced stuff, several times now. I do full custom rosters and shows every year, it's a lot of work. Unless they really upgraded Universe mode, I don't see myself getting next year's game. I've been saying the last couple of years that they need to combine Universe and GM modes together with toggles for options (finances, draft, auto-whatever, like Madden Franchise Mode). Make it a real sandbox. Maybe add MyRise elements to the Rivalries, cut scenes in various locations and continuity that makes sense. Just saying.
@@royalschlitt5130 as a gamer and a guy who plays mainly sports games I just can’t see why it’s hard for them to give us an updated trons and perhaps updated entrances when madden and them update their roster all the time for free
My only issue is that if they have live roster updates, then the chances of them removing people is also high. At least if they release a game annually, they keep people in the game even if they get released.

They should put it back in the game;
-Stacked tables
-Test of strenght battle at the start of the match
-chair stucking limbs
-ignoring rope break while chooking or doin any other submission
-sleeper hold mini game

Would be cool if they added in Macho King with Queen Sherri’s entrance and if they add Honky Tonk Mans guitar as a ringside weapon that you can grab rather than having to select it in the weapons wheel.
This pack has me very intrigued - especially when it comes to Sherri (who started wrestling in 1982) and Post.

These unlocks should never be for a limited time. Most of their audience consists of adults who have real lives outside of the game. I don't want to come home from work and feel like I have another job to go to. I want to enjoy a game at my own pace.
I feel the same. The fact bronze cards are now being used against the purple cards makes me think they will hide the odditys behind this method which makes it so much harder to get cards so people will turn to pack opening. This whole approach shows 2k dont care about its community just care about earning more money from microtransactions

I gave up on Myfaction mode cause of these card packs carrying the jobber cards in all of the major sets. I get it but at the same time I'm very let down on trying to even bother at this point. Plus, I don't know why there's a stamina limit in the Myfaction mode all of a sudden. The grind I get it but damn I just want to speed through & enjoy myself more. Which confuses me cause I turn off the stamina switched it to unlimited which doesn't even state in the option mode that it doesn't effect the Myfaction Mode.
It doesn't surprise me that the big wigs at 2K are likely keeping the devs from doing more. Hearing interviews from former Madden Devs and every single one came off as having great ideas, wanting to implement what the community wants only to get shut down. When you see what the modding community has done to not just 2K, but Madden and any other games, it's easy to tell how much the devs are being held back by the suits who don't understand gaming. Things companies have said were impossible or would take time, modders have done in a day or whatever, nothing about Universe Mode will change as long as the devs are being held back.
2K needs to readjust the prices of card packs
At this point your best bet is to just go onto cc and find them and download them simple. That’s too much just to get one person.
I hope that DLC packs are going to be better, especially for WWE2K25.

Why don’t they just combine all the modes together, where you see cut scenes, you can select a GM, literally create your own wwe experience, cinematic scenes, if you win matches and put on a good show maybe you unlock cards etc, create stories etc. sounds complicated but think it would be good

Some of the Live Events are fun until you’re a bronze card and going up against an amethyst having to get 60 MFP in a match with a 5 minute time limit.
Nah, some of these Live Events are stupid hard and unnecessarily so. Pay walling the heck out of the Persona cards is also just another scummy tactic by 2K that we’ve seen them do in NBA 2K games.
Hello dude. If you use a high flyer and spam the springboard moves against Dijak it works a treat as he doesn’t counter them often and your special bar goes up pretty quick. Axiom is really good to use for this. Hope you stick with it mate and this helps, there’s another channel on here called Jecs gaming and he’s good for advice and hints on how to get past certain sections. Have a good one bud
If 2K put My Faction Effort into WWE Universe then the game would be like the old Smackdown vs Raw Series season mode

When setting up a rivalry, just adding the option to choose your PLE blow-off match would be big.

About the Universe mode segment:
2k saying they don't have time is crazy. Give us a small roster update (attires, factions etc) and then take another year to work on the next game! They know we'll buy it. I'd rather wait for quality. Hell just put the clothes in there and let the community update it for us lol but please put some effort into updates

Agreed...personally...that's how I feel about most of the Legends. Give us all of their elements (attires, hair, facial hair, tattoos, logos, entrances, moves, trons, and music) and let us decide if we want to make them. The Community is killing it right now, we could get good models from there. If most of the Legends are out they could add more of the current roster. I know you love the Legends @AssembleShow but it's hard for me to use them if they have passed away or are not constantly on tv. Hot take, I know! lol

@joer3720 they were supposed to have the match against Sami and KO in the showcase, but it was cut. Their attires and trons were left in however.

Okay so... I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but I had an epiphany last night. I know how everyone's mad about the Pat McAfee pack, including myself. But the more I thought about it, the more I got excited. It's probably gonna be more of a "New Moves Pack" more than likely. Like what they did with WWE 2K14 - 2K19. Because with Pat being the only one with certain moves and entrance, all of the other guys will probably have the craziest move sets and entrances. Kinda like Arnold Schwarzenegger in WWE 2K16. That's the only logical reason I can think of.

For universe all they need to do is let us add cut scenes where we ant and get rid of rivals system. Just combine old create a story with universe. Also, let us edit 4 man entrances. Get rid of spot restrictions so Judgment days entrance isnt shot with Rhea needing to be able to be in spot 1 for it to work right.
I have created a WCW War Games rules style match just submissions but a roof on top sounds awesome

I hate the live events. I can't win. Feels like they are geared toward hardcore sweaty pvp players and not the casual/average 2k player.

The addiction to getting certain persona cards when it comes to the amount of purchases to obtain one card is worse than smoking cigarettes and can’t quit for alot of WWE 2k24 players even though I don’t smoke cigarettes at all 😂 lol. 2K knows how to psychologically get into gamers minds when it comes to the online gambling addition when it comes to spending so much money until you get lucky🤔🤷. If you’re a parent, never trust your kids with the credit card hahaha. I could already imagine the next monthly payment “OMG TIMMY, $1,300 lol
They could improve the odds by eliminating the filler from the packs. Imagine if when some of us collected sports cards if we purchased a pack and only got one player! They could give us 5 superstars per pack and get rid of stuff that should be available by default like cosmetics. There would be more value if we got 5 superstars, a manager, and either a sideplate or oddity in each pack. They could also throw in a persona card after so many packs are paid for or unlocked. If they don’t want to eliminate the ability to draw a duplicate, how about having a trade market that we can use and more benefits for completing collections. The mode can be improved and lead to more player engagement which can still yield profits. Micro transactions should be an option, not a necessity.

We got weapons for ECW pack. An area for the WCW pack makes sense.
I would like to think that 2K might learn from EA loot boxes in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and realise that they are going to lose an original fan base.

I wish they’d bring back either story mode “not my career” where I can pick any wrestler and have a full calendar year with storylines. Why I loved the old wwe games, their season mode was great and if universe isn’t going change it be a good change. However with my faction I’m sure every kid is going keep buying it

I've always been intrigued by the fact that we have a downloaded section of the arenas so none of this would surprise me. Be great if we can get Fall Brawl with a retro covered war games cage that we could use on the modern ring but might be too much of an ask there.

I keep hoping they'll put in Persona Cards that are cool and worth it. Not just Roman with a different hair style. But like throw in a Goddess version of Bliss..or a bad ass looking Kane from 2001..Big Poppa Pump version of Scott Steiner..there's sooooo many COOL ones they can do that would be worth a grind.
Fix spectate mode. Shows dont focus on looking at wrestlers through ropes with the ropes blocking your view

I am not going to lie I was interested in this mode just like everyone else however the amount of extra steps or spending real cash it totally feels as if you are at the casinos trying to win.
I would check in at times to receive the loyalty bonus they would shell out and I would be done in that mode.
I had the feeling of playing universe mode with downloads of ECW and the creations are so awesome. I give major props to them all for making arenas to the titles and of course the wrestlers we use everyday (at points who knows) plus I had watched how you set up your universe and did something like that to my own which looks awesome I must say.
I feel that universe mode isn't getting any better from here on out and it's a shame it truly is. It's getting harder to find videos of people playing this universe mode and that shouldn't happen like that.
I'm Lukewarm with the next DLC but it's better than Pat and friends for sure....
All they have to do is reconnect the universe mode back to the internet like wwe2k17 and 18 was.
To unlock persona cards they shoud do towers and you can play with any cards in the game
After this experience, I’m going to need a serious Universe mode overhaul to even consider 2K25. It’s proven to be worth it to wait for 2K26 if it’s gonna be the same game
Yeah, as long as people are out there spending a small fortune in MyFaction,nothing will change. If Universe mode is copy and paste next year,ill probably skip it. People love universe mode,and want more than a glorified exhibition which i still play cause its the only thing out there.
Been playing my faction since I got wwe 2k24 today with earning a free pack I got the persona had no idea what it was thanks for teaching me what it was.
My delete utility it doesn’t freeze but I can’t move or delete anything do u know how to fix that
So I'm trying to download both those GM ecw and wcw arenas but it keeps coming up with "unlock the following, GM cwc ecw" idk what that means can you or someone help me with this?
If they don’t have the time or resources for Universe, GET THEM. Because Universe Mode NEEDS to be overhauled. Something they had in last years game and seemingly removed it from this years Universe Mode is highlighting wrestlers who are assigned to a shows roster and blanking everyone else’s out when creating a match.

Those ECW and WCW MyGM arenas look really good. I went right in and downloaded them, and I found me a few pretty cool...I'm assuming fictional...wrestlers along the way as well. I love really good fictional wrestlers.

cant lie, theyre doing persona cards perfect. the whole point is you play to earn not pay. i have all except rock and im only 2 cards off without paying any real money. you get mfp pretty quick in this game.
They should make it easy like use a Amethyst card or a Ruby card to unlock a persona card in one match let us unlock man bun roman reigns by using a seth rollins card. Rock 2024 using cody rhodes ect
Those prices to get two cards are exactly why people are tired of the corporate side of the gaming industry. And why games like elden ring or Baldurs Gate 3 did so well. Now the card modes in sports games is good for content I'll give it that but I'd it worth it for what it has made the companies become. It's ruining gaming in my opinion.
Chad Gable persona card doesn't even have his American Alpha theme or entrance motion. It still uses the recent Chad Gable stuff.

We want some connection and cohesion in Universe mode. We don't want it to be, like now, a bunch of exhibition matches under Universe banner
