- Project Andoria begins! In Part 1 of 3, it's time for orbital assembly of a massive cargo ship to transport fuel, habitats, and a lander to Pluto quickly.
This is the largest Crewed Mission I've ever constructed in KSP RSS/RO. It took months of planning, filming, and editing! I hope you enjoy this trilogy :)

An alternate timeline where science is being taken seriously and nations are cooperating with one another instead of fighting?! This seems amazing and so much would get done! If only this was really happening as things are really a mess right now
You know why wars and stuff keep going on? It's because countries exist.
They worked together to build the ISS (International Space Station)
Nonsense! We need to kill, surely, because the other people are Satan, or something.
man I wish I lived in that timeline.
That’s because possible aliens which would definitely get every Country to work together
I like how these rockets are so big that they make huge engines look tiny
I thought the core would launch from the great republic of Burkina Faso
@@mbukukanyau Dude this is a KSP channel, they ain't gonna use labour from a third world country. These modules were built and launched in their respective countries, and Burkina Faso doesn't have the technology now or then to join the project.
@@AstronAndry clearly missed the pun
Man wtf a modern Time to make every rocket look huge with small engines
Is it a pun???
You know, I made it to Kerbin space once on a suborbital flight.
Edit: I think some of you may recognise a similar joke in the comments of another ksp video, not by me, this comment was inspired by that one
Nice
Impossible.
Every great journey requires a first step
The furthest I got was a satellite in HIGH kerbin orbit (beyond minmus) because I put too much fuel in it.
In Stock, the furthest I went is a satellite to Jool, and in RSS/RO I got to LEO.
I LOVE your interpretation of a Russian Sea Dragon and an American N1, great video as always
Thank you! I built the rocket awhile back as a super-sized version of an R7, but with it being so heavy I figured a sealaunch might be the more "practical" approach
I LOVE how the AVRO ARROW makes an appearance! (my mother was the Chief Weights engineer on the Arrow)
That's super cool! I've always loved the look of the Avro Arrow. Been meaning to take a deeper look into its history some time...
The Seayuz is awesome!
Huh, it’s Matt Lowne
Thank you :)
Bit late for this, but surely we get a seayuz jool 5
Hmm when sfs 1.6 is out I can make a simpler rocket
MAGNIFICENT! A mission for the ages! I can only imagine the building/test process was a journey in and of itself!
Certainly was! The original concept had a shorter stay on Pluto and a much more monolithic design before it was split up... pretty epic, but I'm much happier with this two-vessel design.

@@TDChannelKSP Christ, I remember that monolith of a ship
I love the Star Trek references! Shran was one of my favourite characters in Enterprise and the Andorians are a fascinating species. The realisation that the color scheme of this mission was based on them was very fun. Amazing mission, I’m very excited to see the rest of it!
Yup, I love to base my mission names from Star Trek - Shran was a very fun character indeed, and it felt right to name a mission to the farthest (ex)planet in the solar system after an Icy homeworld!
Thank you. I promise it won't disappoint!
As soon as I saw the video thumbnail I was like hol up, they named their ships after things from Star Trek? OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!!
This should be one hell of a journey! Can't wait to see it!

That Seayuz launch sequence looks so badass!!! I'm really looking forward to seeing the next parts :D
Thank you! Was quite a different sequence to film, I'm glad you liked it!
The next parts won't disappoint ;)
When you see an ICBM being used as a retro rocket, you know it's TD Channel.
No kill like overkill, am I right?
Every part of this was incredible. Music, vehicle design, cinematography. Perfect
I disagree, a lot of it could use so much more polish. The kerbals' "voices" sounded especially annoying.
Visuals could use more work. Would suggest watching some art tutorials

I usually prefer less cinematic, more playthrough type RP-1 videos, but God damn if this isn't the coolest KSP video I've been ever seen. Would love to see some dynamic storyline elements like this narrative of missions implemented in late game.
To borrow some words, Shran’s propulsion module has a frightening quantity of NERVAs. Neutron cross-talk might get a little interesting,* especially for the ones in the middle.
*“Interesting” here meaning “prompt-critical.”
All that said, so far this looks to have been worth the wait. Very well-filmed and orchestrated, and I most certainly enjoyed the bagpipes. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
1. At least TD follows the rule of M O A R B O O S T E R S
2. The frick is 'neutron cross-talk'?
3.Who doesn't love bagpipes!
4.Yes good video.
Amazing! I usually HATE the videos that try to use "Kerblish" with subtitles for dialogue, but you keep it nice and succinct. It actually enhanced the video, instead of detracting from it like it usually does for me. I can't wait for the other 2 to come out today and tomorrow. Which is why you have earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Aye - a little bit can add a nice touch, but continually reading subtitles is a bit boring. (unless the story depends on it)
6:50 Korolev would have been so proud! That video is AMAZING! Thank you for this production
Imagine after all of this, they forgot to add parachutes!
I wish I could like a video more than once - this is amazing.
The scale of this is beyond impressive. So hyped for tomorrow's part two! 🥳
Wow man, the first video of yours I discovered was Apollo 3 and my jaw hit the floor at the speed of light 😂
Your skills ABSOLUTELY astound and amaze me. KSP is just a game, put people like you who think outside the box are literally the only ones who can keep humanity going forward.
Very, VERY cool.
Cheers from St. Louis, Missouri 🇺🇸
The dual launch is my favorite. Can't wait for part 2!
It's such a fun shot to do. Part 2 promises even more cool things :)
The N2's engine ignition sounds like a Minecraft lightning, I like it
Dude the editing, this is fucking great. Can't wait to see the next parts.
Soo good, no it's a...
*MASTERPIECE*
Watching Terminal Velocity and some of your other stuff it's easy to see you as just an incredibly talented speedrunner with a penchant for massive rockets, but this reminds me that you're also an extremely talented KSP artist, and, from reading the description, know how to turn scientific papers into in-game parts. Wow!
Thank you so much
WOW...
This is one hell of an impressive mission.
I feel for the poor Kerbals who have to spend almost 30 years in space, though.
Thank you!
Aye, it's definitely a tough mission. They're departing Earth in part 2, and will spend a total of 26 years in space!
What can be better than launching absurdly oversized stuff on even more absurdly huge rockets, especially in RSS-RO, its just incredible. More vids like this with such gigantic stuff!
It's so neat that we get to experience things like this through something like KSP... it's so incredible.
I love the Sea Dragon approach to the largest launch vehicle design.
A rocket I'd have loved to see fly, even just once.
Excited!!
Me 2
Wow wow wow, absolutely incredible! I've been seeing bits and pieces of this mission for a while on the subreddit and discord, but it's better than I could have imagined!
It's been awhile in the making!
Glad that I could exceed your expectations, though :)
It’s always satisfying watching the Korolev cross
on of the best kerbal cinematics I've ever seen. Good work! and keep it up. I can't wait to see the next one
Can't wait!
Very good quality.
(Btw USSR collapsed, and you changed a logo little, on preview. +respect for Attentiveness

Now _THAT'S_ a "money shot" right there ! * Chef's kiss *
JUST WOW MATE I can't believe it, this should have at least a million view Outstanding Work . This is high quality stuff can't wait to binge your other videos :))). JUST EPIC
You know it is an ambitious mission when "Sending Stuff to Orbit" makes up basically all of a Part.
Whoa, glad i stumbled unto this. To think this was done in RSS/RO is very impressive!
EDIT: and great job on the video as a whole aswell, it's very neat!
Dramatic show is coming!
Really impressive! And everything is looking so great ! 👍🏻👍🏻 I'm excited for the other episodes
I can’t even begin to imagine how much work you put into this. Just wow
HOW does this video only have 2k views ? Like this is some insane level of quality. Can’t wait for part 2 in the premier
Just wanted to say - all those small design choices (like the separation boosters!!!) are amazing, I've never even considered doing that, and now it seems silly not to. Great vid 👍
Thank you!
Separation motors often serve a useful purpose in RO - ullage. In order to keep the propellant stable and safely near the engine instead of floating around, the motors keep the vehicle accelerating during engine ignition.
(alternatively, the engines can be hotstaged - igniting the upper stage engines before the first stage has burnt out)
It must have been a big sacrifice for those kerbals having to give up a full quarter of their lives for this mission...
Yet the mission got done and technology for all Kerbal kind and has grown exponentially.
Thank you, men of project Andoria
I’m in love with the N2. It looks so cool.
i like how "Seayuz" is reference to "Soyuz" and "Sea Dragon".
Hello from Russia and "Soyuz"
Love your videos, so complex and tells a story in a weird way, love it.
Oh yeah? I managed to make big ships with B9-HX parts and interstellar extended!
Seriously though, holy crap you really overhauled this thing, I love it.
this looks awesome! the music lines up with everything perfect too!
Wow this is great. This probably took some planning and time. Well done
Can't imagine the amount of work behind this. Very impressive. See you tomorrow then.
Just found this video... this is some amazing work. Love it. Gotta subscribe now. PROST!!
Seeing a dual Saturn V launch from 39A and B feels strange because it wouldnt have been too unrealistic but it never happened and never will.
That's true - probably wouldn't allow it for safety reasons. However, it is pretty cool!
I think my favourite part of this was when the Avro Arrow showed up. That in itself is worth an upvote, nicely done!!!
Thank you! Always loved the look of the Arrow, finally found a place for it to fly :)
Absolutely can’t wait for the rest of the videos to be uploaded. It also looked like the tree made an appearance when Janet 2 lost connection.
i meant janeway 2. not janet 2
This was beautiful, very well done.
Man what an awesome video. Great visuals, great story
man these videos are just incredible
YAY
Dude, keeps up the good work man! Must take a lot of patience and intelliegence to do stuff like this!
Goodness me, that was impressive. I wish I had even a fraction of your creativity.
The Americans taking the N1, scaling it up to supersize, and calling it the N2 is somehow hilariously in character
i am gonna be excited!!
Love all the flags, great video!
Amazing. The video edition is top!
- We have to deliver them by Russian Soyuz rocket
- No , we have a Seause
- Might it be usin from sea?
- We have to
- How many dolphins have to die?
- YOU WORK FOR A FOOD
- INFINITY!!!
He made both the Sea Dragon and the N1 look tiny, im honestly impressed.
This is incredible, the concept of an ocean-deployed rocket is crazy
Best ksp video I've ever seen seriously underrated.
This is the coolest ksp video I've ever seen
Here we go
Hello game professional KSP , amazing work, respect to you, continue to delight with your creativity.
Huge fan of seeing the Arrow appearance in this vid!
This is what when every person on earth know that we are nothing in the universe but special and all the countries united for the benifit of all life forms and earth itself.
And
Your rockets design is mind blowing
Andoria? Shran? And the ship has the perfect colour too! Next mission: Denobula?
Great work! I wish I was that good at RSS/RO, I can't even construct a working orbital rocket. I'll stick with non-RSS/RO but I love this viedo!
This is amazing and even more credit to the cameraman
This looks like an actual movie bro its amazing
This is truly a masterpiece
I incredible video. Would love to see it really happen. Love from Australia
Very impressive! Thanks!
The legend has finally arrived!
Was it 4 months? I really feel like I waited almost half of the year. Anyway, this is great, thank you for your work!
I started planning in August 2021, so yup. It really has been awhile...

GREAT PROJECT. wonderful OST.
i dont even wanna know how much hardwork this takes so that he can upload this masterpiece
Quite a bit :)
this looks awesome! the music lines up with everything perfect too!
edit: i guess im not the only person who wasted their life away watching ENT!
Indeed! I always base my edits around the music, makes it flow nice.
Love ENT and Star Trek in general. It deserved a 5th season :(
@@TDChannelKSP yep! the series was just getting not terrible!
This vidéo is just amazing ...
This video really just says "Why does it take things like these to unite humanity?"
Im late but enjoying it very much!!!
This is amazing! I appreciate the amount of work that’s been put into making this masterpiece! And man, it’s so smooth! Your pc must be nasa supercomputer lol
Trust me, it's not quite this smooth when recording! Speeding up the footage and manually trimming out stutters goes a long way ;)
Great and awesome mission
I like the AVRO Arrow, cool touch.
i laughed so hard at the Seayuz that i almost died lol. god that was a good pun 11/10!
It's awesome that BIG rocket ship is so cool
*GREAT video!*
Got all the Star Trek references good job.
Ah, if it isn't the series that inspired me to make videos! Honestly, mind blowing work right here.
Thank you, I'm glad I could inspire someone to make more KSP cinematics! :D
Can't wait
Good job 👌👍👏
