When I was younger I used to work at that Odeon (movie theatre/cinema) in the snacks section. That was back when they used to have an interval for movies. For those who don't know, half way through a movie they would stop the movie so people could go to the toilet and get a drink or something to eat.

Even further back they had people walking down the aisles shouting ,popcorn!,jaffas! get it while you can.
