    1985 when I was at maanda primary school , you the head master was Mr Hazemba , other teachers like Mr Gotola . we use to dance preparing for independence competition at St Eness primary school . Dancing under the mango tree near the well opposite the football ground .

      @@FairMatongo I was answering the person who says he wants to write a paper on Tonga dance. I wanted to point out that there are Tonga people in Malawi as well, whose language and culture may be different

      No... it is ok... we do not need Eurovision. Thank you for the kind words, they mean well, but it is enough for us to play right where we are, instead of going to other people to seeking validation. Eurovision is a European competition, where people vote and decide that something is better than something else. On what basis can they judge this culture?

      @@FairMatongo He meant to to say that the Tonga nation stretches across the river into Zimbabwe, and he is absolutely correct. Infact, it stretches in Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique as well

      @@briannarankin3965 Did you try googling the following "Ching'ande, Tonga dance, Zambia, Zimbabwe".. Keep in mind that there are many dances among the Tonga people.. "Ching'ande" is pronounced "Ching +ahn+day" .To pronounce "Ching", think of "Thing", with the first syllable being "chee"
