- How to disable driver signature enforcement Windows 10.
Microsoft includes a feature in Windows 10 and Windows 8 called “driver signature enforcement” feature. They’ll only load drivers that have been signed by Microsoft. To install less-than-official drivers, old unsigned drivers, or drivers you’re developing yourself, you’ll need to disable driver signature enforcement.
Before you begin, keep in mind: Microsoft isn’t just trying to make your life harder here. Driver signing enforcement ensures that only drivers that have been sent to Microsoft for signing will load into the Windows kernel. This prevents malware from burrowing its way into the Windows kernel.
Disable driver signing and you’ll be able to install drivers that weren’t officially signed. Be sure you know what you’re doing! You should only install drivers you trust.
Common Errors Associated With Driver Signature Enforcement :
A Digitally Signed Driver Is Required, Windows requires a digitally signed driver.
OR
A recently installed program tried to install an unsigned driver. This version of Windows requires all drivers to have a valid digital signature. The driver is unavailable and the program that uses this driver might not work correctly. Uninstall the program or device that uses this driver and check the publishers support website to get a digitally signed driver.
OR
In reverse of this, an error for a Steam game appears to deliver the following error:
EasyAntiCheat cannot run if Driver Signature Enforcement has been disabled
To quickly fix the last error mentioned, run these commands from command-line as Administrator and restart Windows for changes to take effect:
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
bcdedit.exe -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS OFF

I have been tried few times, but still doesn't work. Please help! It just keep showing the same problem a digitally signed driver is required. Also, it shows my ssd as well which replaced my old hdd. Is that because I didn't use the hdd come with this laptop?

My computer doesn’t bring me to the menu after the restart. Ive went into the troubleshoot menu and ive went into startup settings but no menu after restart.

Failed to reboot with that mode. But disabling Secure Boot @ the BIOS get the job done.

Hi sir, TY for this great tutorial... but i have a problem and i think it's because of disabling this option... every time i restart my windows, many folders, browsers and other things like even KM player popup and i need to close them one by one.... you know why this is happening and any to make it right?

Great Video, however I am having problems with my TP-Link TL-WN851ND Wireless N PCI Adapter. Error message at startup "Cannot load into library file". TP has no new drivers to support this for W10. I did exactly as you instructed, neither 7 or F7 responded, and my computer locked up. Same old message on startup. Any help would be appreciated! Same here. I even did it from the command prompt as admin and Windows just ignores my changes. Good ol' Microshit. I hope Windows fucking dies.
I found out what the problem was for me. I had to change a setting on my ASUS motherboard's BIOS that was preventing me from installing drivers, now it works fine.
What was the name of the setting? I'm not seeing anything in my BIOS that refers to drivers.
I'm not exactly sure where i found it, but there was a guide i was following. Tried finding it again but can't seem to find it. Try googling something like "How To Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in BIOS" and add your motherboard name. For me the motherboard i use is called ASUS Z170-A.
I tried doing it but i cant use my keyboard in the menu, is there any reason for that?

when I click restart in startup it just restarts my computer doesn't bring up the startup settings where you can disable driver enforcement any ideas why???
I am at the option for F7 or 7, however, my Windows 10 does not accept it.... it still checks driver signature..... the screen with the 9 options is black, not blue, and f7 does not work.... what can I do--help

for some reason it won't let me press F7 or 7? Please help! EDIT: Plug your Keyboard in the back of your PC, specifically the top right position. It gives more priority there.

I don`t get Startup Settings. When I go to troubleshoot, and ask to restart so I can get the Startup Settings and choose the f7 option, I don't get that screen. It just restarts and goes to Windows.

Another option is going to your bios setup when pressing f12 when you restarted it. Once in, you should look for security options and look for signed firmware update. I have the same issue of not finding it so I found an alternative way

+Smack Chop So, let me get this straight: you install your non-signed driver, then next time you boot the driver signature enforcement is re-enabled? That sounds perfect. You're able to operate your device, and then have the protection restored. Why would you want to permanently disable driver signature enforcement?
+claymiesterify What would be nice is a way to make specific exceptions to driver signature enforcement, ie, let Windows know that this particular driver is ok to load. If I shut down my pc, then the next time I boot my driver won't load. A work around is to hibernate instead of shut down.

Jon Tvr I have an of Astro A50 headset that only works with dolby bitstream, but with my hardware only allows DTS, even though there is a previous version that carries both Dolby and DTS with a simple software mod, so that is why i need it. Its a simple case of my soundcard maker no longer carring the license even though it is still compatible hence it working with the unsigned driver i am using.

I installed cracked win 10 in SSD then in my original win 7 ultimate laptop. Then I tried to install Ubuntu but it failed so I deleted the partions assigned to ubuntu and then found the SSD disk in which cracked windows 10 was installed now when I'm booting to win 10 it's showing files mismatch. Also says disable digital signature enforcement can anybody help
