Watched your video as my Dyson had the pulsating problem. Took it all apart as you showed and it now works perfectly. Thankyou so much and so easy to do. Was dreading that I needed a new hoover but now problem been solved. Thanks a lot.
Hepa filter is washable. It's in Dyson's instruction book.

If you have a V7 Motorhead, you will have to buy the rear adapter to use these filters.
Super easy to understand. I replaced the battery and both filters in about 15 minutes. (The husband lucked out - I didn’t need his help)😊
How do you remove back filter on v7?

Im having the same issue....
Still never figured out how to take the hepa filter off, but instead I vacuumed up a whole box of that oxi clean carpet cleaner dust and let it sit in my vacuum for a day then cleaned it best I could. Smells great now
@@MrJThomps22 I just spoke to customer service and I told her that I couldn't remove mine. She made a case number and told me to go to the nearest repair center and there would not be a charge. Trouble is, my nearest repair center is over 40 miles away, possibly closer to 50 miles. Just to be able to remove a filter. Ridiculous.
How do you remove the rear filter on the d7 trigger.?

The back filter won’t twist off, and I don’t want to break it so I can’t replace it
The filter is not that easy to remove. It just doesn't twist off with two fingers.

I have an a V7 motorhead and the post filter does not just turn off.i need to get a hepa filter kit correct? I need the piece to into the back of the vacuum and it will snap on I'm thinking and then I can place the hepa filter on that? I know I need some sort of oring attachment.

Does the star separate from the prefilter?
I can't pull the filter up from the little knob in top for the life of me. They should have made something better to hold on to. I'm tempted to get out a pair of pliers. Anyone else have this problem?

Pull the red handle up and it just falls out the bottom.
All these show twist off filters, mine does NOT waste of time for me
This is untrue. The v7 has a screw at the base of the rear filter
That's the screw that lets you change the battery. The V7 back does not come off.
That's the 3rd screw for locking battery in place
