    How do we do this with talking heads without messing up the sound

      I’m trying to figure out that right now. I’ve been trying out CapCut for a while, but mainly not talking head projects. Now that I’m trying that again (and come originally from Final Cut) I’m finding it challenging with CapCut.

      I'm sure you figured it out given your comment is a month old, BUT, you just need to turn off Main Track Magnet (you can just press P to toggle it). Keep in mind if you activate it during your edit it will grab the main track and throw it left. Still not as easy to do these cuts as compared to Final Cut, but this will get me to the end of the project I'm working on and then I can start learning another editing suite :)

      Thanks for your question. Jay answered it I think well. Another thing to consider is just to do it the "easy way" as I show in my first example. The Airliner is like the talking head. You just put that talking head video underneath the quiet clip (woman meditating in this case) And you'll hear the talking head 1-2 seconds before we see the talking head.
