try opening 4-5 credit chests before opening chests with gems. Its not 100% guaranteed but I tend to get luckier when I do that method of opening

I bought 10 of the comic celebrations mythical chest with all my gems, got no legendary which broke me. I got back 700 gems, bought 2 Heirarchy of Power Duo chest and got Collector of Worlds Superman new which is great but still pretty disappointing.
